I highly recommend this practice. I would have given five stars, but there was a little bit of 'sales pressure' around a treatment plan, that while quite professional, was a bit uncomfortable for me. That could be because I've never had a dentist's staff take me aside and do that. From a business standpoint it makes perfect sense. But, don't let that keep you away. I promise you'll be well pleased with his results.
Save My Life..... A few years ago I started going to Dr.Dahm's office I dont like going to the dentist only when I need to. Im medically compromise a lot of allergies on numerous things My dental treatment went very well with them, They were very patient with me although I asked hundreds of question, Dr Dahm patiently answered all of them. He gave me epi-phen 2 of them which is very good shot for a severe allergic reaction. " He said it might come handy one of these days!" and it sure did I had a severe reaction with a bee sting and and if did not have that i would not be here now. I JUST WANTED TO LET ALL OF DR. DAHM'S PATIENT KNOW. " HE SAVE MY LIFE" im very gratefull for it and I still am a patient I come once in a great while still cannot get over my high fear of dentist but they are GREAT! thanks again!!
Fantastic Office!!!. Dr. Fred Dahm has got to be the best dentist in the area. It was a breeze getting an appointment at the time I needed due to there fantastic hours. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, as soon as I walked in I was asked if I wanted anything to drink, which I didn't have time too because they are so quick. Everything went smoothly and better than expected with my crown (quick and painless). I would refer Dr. Dahm to everyone!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Worse Dentist Service and false billing.
Dr. Dahm doesn't care so much about patient. He leaves everything to his hygienist. Including dialogging and explaining about teeth condition.
The billing always higher than actually estimate. I have my fillings. They estimate the cost after insurance had pay when I make appointment for my filling. When I got my filling, their cost is higher. After a month, I received a bill from them saying that I still own them ~$100 for the service. Same as with my regular check up. I pay my copay and their some extra cost that I need to pay after that.
Billing.
When I made my first appointment at Fred Dahm Dentistry I asked if they accepted my insurance, which they did. I asked the receptionist if she would mind verifying my insurance for I do not understand it. She not only verified my insurance but also called me the very same day and explained my benefits to me throughly and wasn't hurrying through the conversation. She was very polite and patient. When I arrived to my appointment my insurance was already in there system and everything was ready to go. I was so happy. Once I had my procedures done for the day they could tell me exactly how much I had left in remaining benefits. Dr. Dahm's office billed my insurance so I didn't have to mess with sending my own claims.
When my appointment was over I had some treatment that needed to be done. The receptionist once again politely and patiently went over my treatment estimate with me. She showed me about how much insurance is estimated to cover and what my out of pocket expense was estimated to be. Everything was very clear and neat. I scheduled an appointment for my treatment.
A couple weeks later my claim went through and I received an EOM in the mail. My insurance thankfully covered more than expected on one procedure, but a little less on the other. But that figures, that insurance for you.
I know Dr. Fred Dahm's office tried there hardest in calculating a treatment estimate. I guess thats how insurance companies work though you never know. It's just like medical insurance. At least at Dr. Dahm's office they go over estimates with you. When you go to the Dr. for medical exams or treatment they don't go over how much it will be you just receive a bill.
Thank you Fred Dahm Denstistry for being so polite, patient, and courteous!

Best Experience Ever. I've been going to the dentist forever. I have a fasination with teeth, I floss twice a day, and brush 5 times a day. However, I always have cavities. I went to my old dds who told me I have 2 cavities, which I just couldn't believe so I started shopping around. I called many different dental offices in the Renton area and noone could get me in on the day and time I needed. Not until I called Fred Dahm Dentistry, they fit me in there schedule the next day and they told me I did not have cavities. With there up-to-date technology with digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, and the diagnodent ( which can tell if there is any decay) proved to me that I did not have any cavities. Dr. Dahm showed me on the computer my teeth from using the intraoral camera. I could see everything on my tooth. I was very suprised at the service I received and am very happy with it. I should have switched dentists years ago.
Flexible Professional, Responsive. My most recent visit to Dr. Fred Dahm's office was an emergency visit where I needed help suddenly with a tooth that we planned care for later in my treatment plan. They made time for me during their lunch hour and took care of my problem with their usual kindness and professionalism. The staff is always so kind to me when I go in there it really eases my worries and makes me feel like I have chosen the exact right place to get my dental care. Things I really appreciate are that they ask me if anything has changed since my last visit, healthwise, they inquire how much pain medication I need to feel comfortable and they tell me the options I have available to me. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting someplace to come to get professional, state of the art and most of all- very considerate and kind care. They are the best.
Awesome and Painless. Fred Dahm Dentistry has changed my views on going to the dentist all together. I have always had a fear of getting shots with needles at a dental office. However when the day came that I needed to break down and finally go to a dentist i read many GREAT online posts and heard nothing but GOOD things about his office. PAINFREE dentistry is what sold me. So I called, made an appointment, got in that next day and I was suprised. Suprised that Fred Dahm Denistry is more than what I expected and more. As soon as I walked into the office they asked if I wanted anything to drink while I waited, then when I got back into the chair I felt very comfortable with the Dr. Dahm and his assistant. When the time came for the "shot" I was very calm. This is the place if you want PAINLESS DENTISTRY!!!:) I would recommend everyone to this office!
Highly Recomended. I love coming to Fred Dahm dentistry . IAM a VERY HIGH FEAR DENTAL patient. I had a crown done not so long ago by another DDS it took so many times for the crown to get done and finished, and I was in so much pain. After that i took a hiatus going to any dental office. Until i finally decided to go to Fred Dahm Dentistry, The staff from the hygienist to the assistant made me comfortable during my visit. I Had no pain after they did some fillings and crown on me, I slept like a baby that night. They even called me the day after the procedure was done to make sure i was doing ok and did not had any discomfort. I told all my friends and Co- Workers about them.. Im very happy with them I've finally found my dentist. ;')
Deceitful and Insulting Staff. I was surpised by how nice the office was when I initially went into the location on NE 4th in Renton. I got my dental X-Rays and cleaning done. Before scheduling my first visit I called and asked them if they were IN-Network providers for Metlife Dental. The person on the phone told me that they were so I went in. I should have known better and just called my dental provider to double check but the lady I assumed knew who they were in-network with. At the end of my first visit they told me I have 4 cavaties which is not a big deal so i scheduled the follow up appoitnment and went in the next week. When i got in I got them filled but then they told me they missed 7 more cavaties that I had. PLEASE TELL ME HOW THEY COULD HAVE BEEN OFF BY THIS MANY ? Well after the first visit I get mail from MEtlife saying that they were not in network and had to pay $500 which really irritated me. I decided to get a new dentist which was in-network by calling metlife. Went to the new dentist and they did another set of X-Rays and said that I did not need 7 more fillings but needed 4. I had called to tell Fred Dahm that I was switching dentists and the lady at the front desk insisted that they were still in network providers for MEtlife and that she also gave me preffered pricing and that if she wanted to she could bill me out for the difference if she wanted to. I found the whole experience disgusting with the service that was provided. I would not recommend them to anyone and plan on telling my story to as many people as possible. Last thing I just got a letter in the mail from them which made me laugh.
