Pharmacist tried to rip me off. I recently lost my health insurance and had to get antibiotics...I went to get my prescription filled at Pharmaca. It was a generic brand prescription, and the pharmacist wanted to charge me $94.00. I asked if there was a less expensive option and explained that I had no insurance. He lied and told me "this is the STANDARD cost."

I transferred the same prescription to another pharmacy and it was $29.00. I will never use them for my pharmacy needs again. They are ripoff artists.

Inviting store with wonderful products. Excellent product selection! Lots of things I like and many good new things I discover each time.

The staff is generally helpful, though I can usually find what I need myself in their well-organized shelves.

For a small store, it does surprisingly well at stocking traditional items (I find I go to Bartell's less and less) as well as 'alternative medicine' and 'natural product' choices.

A good find!
