THANK YOU VINCENT!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!. I had a cut and color with Vincent, the best stylist in Seattle (that I've been to). When Vincent plucked me from the waiting area, I felt instantly at ease. He was so friendly, and had a killer style (good sign!).

From start to finish, Vincent did a fantastic job. After sitting down in front of the mirror, Vincent thoroughly examined my hair, patiently asked what I envisioned, asked followup questions and offered suggestions. He gently washed my hair, and carefully colored and cut my locks, all the while providing the most entertaining conversation.

My hair looked HOT. Vincent rocked those chemicals and scissors.

The entire experience was amazing. Everyone turned out to be so friendly, always smiling in my direction. Vincent was amazing. Shanti's products were amazing (pointing out to me at the end of my visit those he had used in case I was interested in purchasing). This amazingness was not cheap, but this time, it was worth it.

Off I went, looking fierce! THANK YOU VINCENT!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

VINCENT was amazing!!!. Vincent was amazing!!! - very professional yet fun to work with. My hair looks and feels the best ever has. I enjoyed the entire time at this super low key but also very customer service oriented salon. Fast foil, fabulous haircut and the best blow out that anyone has ever done. I would recommend Vincent hands down. Loved the entire afternoon at Shanti.

One of the best Salon's and definitely the greatest stylist!. I am new to west seattle from the East Coast. Before I moved here I was worried about shopping, dining, and all of my recreational activities I used to do back home because I had heard that it was, shall I say, different here on the West coast. I started off my adventure here in search of a great stylist. With the humid weather here, my hair was in need of a great stylist. I had the best stylist where I'm from (Shout out to Michael P. at Length!:) So I was a little worried to trust someone in a new city with my hair. I heard that in West Seattle Shanti was a great place to go from some of my colleagues and that Vincent was the one to see there. Since their hair looked so good I decided to try him out. I got a cut, color, and the Brazilian blowout to try and tame my hair in this humidity. He did such a great job, and if Michael sees this he might be mad, but I would venture to say that his work was just as good, if not better! He made me feel like a princess and afterwards, look like one too. I've seen other reviews where they say the price was too high, but I say you get what you pay for! The atmosphere of the salon is laid back, yet they are very attentive to their clients. I also liked the fact that it was a full service salon. I'm looking forward to going back and trying out their other services. And a big thanks to Vince and everyone in the salon for making an outsider feel right at home!

Devin does the Best Brows Ever!. After a poor experience at another West Seattle salon, I booked an appointment for a brow wax at Shanti.

I was able to book an appointment easily by phone for the following day. I was leary after reading reviews of the reception service, but found them to be courteous and professional both over the phone and in person. The women I spoke with (Beth and Laurel) were outstanding.

The area for spa services is very relaxing and private. Devin (spelling?) listened, looked carefully at the picture I showed her and explained what she could do to give me the look.

The time spent on the table was the most relaxing I've ever had for a brow wax. And the results? Miraculous! And it was only $18!!

Plus, this is an Aveda Salon, so I feel good about the natural, cruelty-free products they use.

I'm definitely going to be a regular customer and look forward to getting my hair done at Shanti soon.

Book an appoitment with Catherine Baskett. I am 35 years old and just now I totally love my hair style and know how to style it as well... I have always complaint about how other hairstylists handle my hair and Cat just does it right. She does not pull my hair!!!! I have long, long hair and she has such gentle touch that makes me feel respected and safe in her hands. Also when she colors my hair, she takes the time to apply cream on my forehead and ears and cleans these areas very well when she is done... so caring!! The latest haircut is just the best thing I have ever had. I told her: "I am ready for a change. cut it all" . She was going to do whatever I wanted but with a humble advice she said to let her do something different and have some fun with the hair before cutting it all. So I agreed and I am so happy to have my hair still long and with a beautiful style.

If you want a beautiful foil, see Vincent. I have been a client of Vincent's for over 10 years and will follow him to any salon he works at. Why? No one can make my hair look as good as he does. Not even close. My hair is very dark brown and Vincent manages to lift it to the most gorgeous shade of pale blonde imaginable. Anyone who bleaches their hair on a regular basis knows how fragile it can get and somehow he manages to do this with absolute minimal breakage. He also does amazing haircuts. I've had many a haircut end in disaster with other stylists simply due to miss-communication. Never with Vincent. He knows the difference between what I say and what I really mean and translates it to a style suitable for my face shape. He's professional, charming and fun to be around which makes my salon visits something special to look forward to.

Great experience!. I live very close to Shanti Salon & Day Spa so I decided to try it. I read previous reviews about Vincent Nguyen and requested him for a haircut. I left very pleased. He did exactly what i had in mind. I will be coming back.

Wonderful Salon & Spa. I recently decided it was time for a haircut. I no longer had my stylist from Shanti who I had followed everywhere as he moved around and my experience with another salon was mediocre so I decided to try Megan. I'm not normally one to go to women stylists but her price was good and I liked the fact that she had an artist's background and eye.

My hair is super fine and straight but I have a lot of it. Thus it's pretty tough to cut the first and sometimes second time around especially not to show mistakes in the cut. I showed Megan a couple of photos more what I was looking for and after some discussion she got down to work. She did a razor cut with some texturing and did a fabulous job!

I have not had a haircut this good in quite some time and after so many years with a great stylist in Seattle and another celebrity stylist in California, I'm pretty picky about my hair styles. Suffice it to say that I think I found my new stylist. A plus is that she's very affordable - just showing you don't need to spend 100.00 to get a great haircut!

I'll definitely be going back to get massage done as well. Bonus: FREE Parking!!!

VINCENT NGUYEN IS THE BEST!!!!!. I went to Shanti for a cut and color. I was very lucky to have met my stylist, Vincent. He did exactly what I wanted. He really listened to me and was so professional yet personable. I absolutely love love love my hair as do all my friends and fam. Shanti is a full service salon and spa so I will be b someack for their other services too. I rate them a 5-star salon because I feel confident that they earned it with my many visits. But don't just take my word for it, go see for yourself!

Great Service!. first tried Shanti salon because I loved their natural and somewhat spiritual approach, as opposed to chemical and superficial which you find at most salons. When I walked in, I knew right away it was different. I was greeted with smiles and not judgment. I was going for a foil, which was done by Vincent. He is AMAZING! He had the best personality, he made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered at that moment. And foil was just as great as his personality. I had an idea of what I wanted and he took my idea and made it ten times better! I liked it so much, I ditched my normal hair cut person and got it cut by him. Again, he took what I wanted and gave it a modern, updated twist. I LOVED IT! I walked in a six and left a ten (maybe even eleven) All my friends loved it and will be going to Shanti as well. When you look good, you feel good! I definitely recommend Shanti, and more specifically, if you're looking for a foil, ask for Vincent!
