Best dressed at the wedding...next to the bride!

I was looking for the perfect dress for my sons wedding and explained to Monica (owner) what I had in mind. A few days later, she emailed me a picture of a beautiful Nicole Miller dress.

I loved the dress, my husband loved the dress and I felt great wearing it. What a wonderful experience to walk into a store and have the owner take the time to find a dress, order it and take the extra steps to make sure it is perfect.

The latest Parisian dress....in Ballard at Ella Mon

Hi Monica,

I wanted to pass this onto you. Last night I was at another Art opening at Davidson Galleries and met a Parisian lady who noticed my beautiful dress I bought at your shop this summer. It's a Gerard Darel design. She has the same dress but bought in in Paris this year! It was very cool to know that the dress I had was one of the latest in Paris and I bought it in Ballard!

Unique & Beautiful Clothing, Awesome Staff!! Go there soon!

Ella Mon is now the first store I go to when I need to update my wardrobe, buy something for a special event, or just splurge on myself. I regulary recommend women go to Ella Mon as I am often complimented on something I'm wearing that I purchased from this wonderful store. In June I needed a dress for a special star-studded event in California. I new exactly where to go to find a dress that I would feel fabulous in...Ella Mon. I got there at 6:30 (a little late)...they close at 7PM; however, they helped me pick out a dress until nearly 8PM. I tried on at least 10 different dresses until I found just the right one. It was a dress that I looked fabulous in, was very comfortable, and even though I was willing to pay "whatever" to look great, it was only $85.00. It can be dressed up or down--wear with heels or flip-flops. So, I got to buy a few other items as well for my trip. Fun, fun. Monica, the owner, is great. She's helpful, knows her business, and is NOT pushy. As well, she hires people of the same caliber. If you couldn't tell by now...I LOVE THIS STORE.I'm a 45 year young woman--the clothing lines that Ella Mon carries are perfect for me; they are youthful but not teenagerish, "cool" yet sophisticated, and affordable. And, I'm sure these descriptions don't even do them justice. I can't wait to get back. I'm just so busy with my own business I have a hard time getting over there, though I hope to soon. Being a business owner myself I truly appreciate another business who offers wonderful "products", and excellent caring service. Ella Mon is just that!!

Update your wardrobe

I took a friend shopping on Saturday morning to update her wardrobe. The sales clerk and then the owner of Ella Mon came to our rescue bringing us pieces of clothing that might be of interest . They then showed us how my friend would wear the tops and pants with each other, how to layer the pieces, how to change the necklines, pull this top down, hike this top up, etc. They were a wealth of information and ideas as well as showing a great deal of patience. We never felt rushed or pressured but felt we got honest opinions as to what worked and what didn't. After 3 hours we left with two shopping bags of new clothes and feeling very good about our experience and her "new look". The store carries a nice variety of styles for a variety of ages and body figures. A great shopping experience.

Ella Mon-Unique clothing for women

I spent a half a day in Seattle looking for a MOB (Mother of the Bride) dress that wouldn't make me look like Aunt B., when a friend called and told me to check out Ella Mon. Quite frankly, I was hesitant as boutiques don't often have anything a 50+ person could wear, or should wear. Anyway, at the end of a long and tedious day we dragged ourselves into Ella Mon. The staff were very helpful without being condescending or pushy and I found exactly the dress for my daughter's wedding in two weeks. This shop is definitely worth the trip to this charming neighborhood....Ballard. KittyNC
