Dishonest/bad service. Found this salon on line-it seemed like a good deal to get 20% off service for new customers-which I was, so made 2 appointments for my teenage daughters haircuts-one was with Nadya( which I was excited for my one daughter to get-since she was traveling out the country 2 days after that- long story short- I ended up with two operators that were just starting out-(20y.o) common-really, I was looking for $48.00 & experienced-instead I got - let me practice on your hair type of deal- & say goodby to the 20% off new customer service as advertised in their web site.....Bad all around--will not recommend or go back to this place...

Finally, the salon I have been looking for!. With much relief, I can finally say that I have found my salon! I love Aveda products and had been trying for three years to find a salon that was a good fit. I have been looking for a friendly, casual neighborhood feel (no "factory," overpriced salons, please!) with a modern/artsy twist and this salon had it. They were able to get me in on short notice on a Saturday, and my stylist Artie took care of me with grace and charm. She showed keen interest in working with my hair's particular needs and in sculpting my overgrown hair into a cute, funky short cut. Nadya, who greeted me immediately when I arrived and served as my cashier when the cut was done, was very friendly and attentive. I felt truly cared for here. Thank you, Salon UnMixed! I will be back!

Love my haircut!. I had long hair for 20 years, so getting a haircut was not a trivial matter for me. My stylist, Nadya, listened to my ideas and made suggestions that I liked. I ended up with a great haircut that I get a lot of compliments on! I've had my hair cut there several times since then and it's always a great experience. It's totally worth the drive from Seattle for me.

for me it is worth the trip to the Eastside. I have been coming to have my hair cut and colored by Nadia for a few years now--coming all the way from Seattle. My hair is thin and unruly. Until I met Nadia I thought that all I could do is put it in a pony tail. Nadia's knowledge of how different textured types of hair behave and her listening to my accounts of what it does let her make a few good suggestions for my haircut and what products would work well with it.

Nadia always gives me an elegant cut that lasts. I do not even have to style it--I just wash it, let it air dry, and it styles itself! And I absolutely love the color. Nadia so cleverly introduced some cooler tones into it. Now my hair looks healthy and sophisticated.

un impressed. I went in for a color service and was not satisfied. I expressed what I wanted and what I did not want (red) and left with brassy red hair. I will not go back to this salon and will not recommend it to anyone else. I was not listened to, was unhappy, and still had to pay full price

Pampered at Salon Un/Mixed. Often times, I come to this salon just to have a wash and flat iron. It relaxes me after a hard day at work. My stylist, Nadia, always listens to what I want. She never forces a style on me and she gives the best scalp and hand massages. In addition, she is an excellent colorist. The receptionist is friendly and knows me by name. I've been been a steady customers at other salons, but I am always just a client. At Salon Un/Mixed, I always feel valued. I've never received such excellent treatment. I told my sister about this salon and she travels 45 minutes just to have her hair done.

Fabulous service, affordable prices, nice people. It's the best salon on Eastside. There maybe fancier and more expensive places, but you won't find one that would give you such a terrific experience at the price they charge. Even though it's getting busier and busier every time I come, they keep appointments always on time and they try to make your time there as pleasant as possible. And then I get many compliments from colleagues and friends for my haircut. I highly recommend Salon Unmixed to all who want to get the most value and the best look.

New Name Bad Service. I went to Beauty inc. and they always did a good job, then they shut down, and renamed it, this place is like a revolving door. There is always new people, a new name ect. I do have to say this is by far my least favorite I don't like the new people. They gave me a horrible haircut and a color I did not ask for. I was not impressed

EXCELLENT SALON. I have been going to Jennifer at Salon Unmixed (formerly Beauty Inc) for several years. She is friendly and takes the time to do an excellent job on my hair. She does GREAT color. I was amazed to read the previous unpleasant post. . .I have never seen anyone at Salon Unmixed treated badly. It is a very professional laid-back salon. Unfortunately, in a forum like this, people are able to print whatever they like for whatever reason. Due to the extreme nature of the post, I doubt that a word of it is accurate.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. have never had such a horrible experience at a "professional" salon before. My stylist was almost an hour late and then was in such a bad mood, she acted like she didn't even want to be there. No consultation right into the cut she gave me a bob which was horribly uneven and I told her I did not want, she told me she wasn't done and kept cutting without even talking to me. She finished and I looked in the mirror and started crying. she told me that the cut she gave me was a hundred times better than what i came in with. There was no manager or supervisor around and they still charged me full price...AVOID SALON UNMIXED AND ALLISON LIKE THE PLAGUE
