Come As You Are Casual Tapas. Among the best of the Seattle’s Spanish small plate venues, this tiny, informal tapas haunt has become a fast favorite for both neighborhood hipsters and hard-working Ballard fishermen. Most activity centers around the bar, where conversations come easy. Or snag a seat along the window for prime people watching. The affordable menu is scrawled on a chalkboard; highlights include sherried mushrooms on toast, deviled eggs, and blue cheese stuffed dates. Have Will, the ever-affable bartender stir up a potent Dark and Stormy or pour one of more than 15 inspired Spanish wines by the glass. Afterwards, you’re within close proximity of Historic Ballard and a bevy of bars and venues that regularly host live bands.

GREAT FOOD! GREAT DRINKS! GREAT SERVICE!. First of all, the food is amazing. My favorite is the Gambas al Ajillo / spicy garlic prawns. Small portions so you can order multiple items off the menu and get a taste of everything.

The service is amazing. I'm picky about customer service and the people who work at Ocho are great. Nothing bad to say about this place.

Eat like a queen!. I went here the other night with one of my favorite friends to catch up on life. We sat at the bar and feasted on cocktails and tapas. The service was pretty good even though it was very busy, the bill was well under $100 and we went home happy.

You may get to know your neighbors at this cozy tapas bar located right around the corner from booming Ballard Avenue, where you can belly up to the bar or settle into smooth wooden tables. The chalkboard menu lists Spanish tapas such as garlic prawns and potatoes bravas, while the drink menu lists wines, signature cocktails, beers and sangria. The lounge's décor includes fun details such as shelves at the wooden bar that interlock like Tetris pieces.
