I have found heaven in Wallingford!!!!! FINALLY a place that is delicious, hip, friendly and did I mention DELICIOUS. I first came here for brunch and after a small wait, it was more than worth the wait, I would've waited all day. There were four of us and I had the Northwest Benedict. The eggs were poached to perfection. It was delicious. My crew also ordered Huevos Rancheros, Big Poppa Scramble and the LaTomitina Benedict. The service was outstanding and the food was even better. I have been to dinner here a couple of times since. Once on a Wed. and once on a Saturday. I have sat back in the bar area and the bartender (same girl both times) was on top of it. Her area was full but we felt like we were her only customers because she was so attentive. My friend had the BBQ Bacon Burger with the sweet potato fries. This is the best burger in Seattle. Seriously. And those sweet potato fries are unreal. I ordered the mac and cheese and added shrimp. Sounds weird, but let me tell you, it was a little bite of heaven with every scoop. The next time I came here we ordered the Prawn Risotto and the Tenderloin Gorgonzola. I am a risotto snob, but the consistency was perfect and the seasoning was sooooooooooo good. The cream sauce on the tenderloin I could have swam in. Finally, both times we ordered the chocolate mousse. I tasted it and thought I had died and went to heaven. This is my new favorite spot. Absolutely superb!!!!!!

I first was brought to Loki Cafe by friends for breakfast after a long night out. Wow what a great benedict! My wife had the bourbon street waffle with plantains and bacon and she craves it now. Since then I have returned 4 time in the last month for dinner and happy hour. I can say the food is consistently great, the service is generally friendly and they know me when I walk in the door now. Each time we have come in, my wife and I have brought friends to share this new spot we have found in Wallingford. Last time we came in, we saw 2 different group of friends dining, that we initially introduced to Loki Cafe. Loki Cafe seems to be that kind of friendly neighborhood place that people meet thier friends at! 5 stars for menu choice 5+ stars for amazing food 5 stars for great friendly service 5 stars for half priced wine night and Happy hour selections 3 stars for the lines for brunch on the weekend ( I had to find a negative point) That being said, we are not foodies, but enjoy great food. Loki cafe is now in our dining out rotation!

Pros: huge menu, great selection great breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Cons: lines for breakfast as more people find out about Loki
