This place is crazy-awesome. Charlie is the best hairdresser I've found in the Pacific NW hands-down. Great cut, amazing color. I used to live in LA and went to Jose Eber. Now I live two hours from Seattle and make the drive to Loft every time for great hair. Totally worth it.

ERIN WILL MAKE YOU LOVE YOUR HAIR AGAIN!!!. I am extremely picky when it comes to a stylist, but now that I have found Erin, I never need to search for another ever again. She listened to what I wanted, what I didn't want and gave me an honest opinion as to what would be flattering on me. I wanted something that was different than what I usually wear, and not only did I get that, but I got a cut that flatters in many styles.

I could see that this person cares about making the client happy, has incredible talent and is knowledgable about what she is doing. When I need a foil and color, I'm booking Erin, and that is not sometihng I take lightly. Do yourself a favor, go see Erin at the Loft, you won't regret it.

FAKERS AND POSERS, "RUDE" RULES AT THE LOFT!. Take heed, potential customers. Mid-way through Graydin's cut, Charles interceded to correct. The result was the best that could be done, considering the circumstance. When finished, they both apologized and said to come back in 5-6 weeks to even things out to a proper cut.

At six weeks I phoned for an appointment with either of them and was told they'd return my call. They didn't.

At seven weeks I sent an e-mail, requesting they contact me. They didn't.

At eight weeks, I left a phone message to remind them I hadn't heard from them. Same result.

About now my hair looks like I had an accident with a lawnmower, so I phoned one, last time. Johnny asked what my call was about, and I told him. "Wait a minute," he told me. Then, "Charles is too busy, and can only make good on his promise, SOMETIME AFTER THE FIRST OF THE YEAR"!!! That's FOUR weeks from now. He suggested I go somewhere else. REALLY!!

Not only does "rude" rule at this faker salon, but so does incompetence, bad business practice and bad attitude.

Clean Comfortable Salon. The Loft Salon and Gallery is a wonderful unique comfortable downtown salon. I followed my longtime stylist David to the Loft. I really enjoy looking at Johnny's photo's posted around salon and the folks are all very professional and friendly.

Incredible Service!. I got my haircut here for the first time today and had an incredible experience! Drea was my stylist and she really blew me out of the water. She was great at listening to what I wanted and throwing in her own recommendations. She was very honest with what she thought would look best and was very patient with all of my questions and was great at explaining new ways to style my hair. She explained why she was using each product and how to use it best. I never felt like she was rushing or just trying to get the job done, she really put a lot of time and energy into my hair. One of my favorite parts was that she didn't try to sell me on the products when we were finished but more just inform me of them. Even when we walked to the front to pay she didn't pressure me in any way, she waited for me to specify what I wanted to buy. Overall it was a great experience and I love my haircut! I will definitely be going back here again.

MY BEST HAIRCUT EVER!. I love this place! I had my hair styled and highlighted by Shari a few days ago. The test came when I washed it for the first time, and I had an easy time styling it to look the way Shari had fixed it. My old blah medium brown, medium length hair is gone, and it feels great! THANKS SHARI!!! (My mom loved it!)

Edgy yet comfortable. Well lit yet not blinding neon the Loft is a very comfortable space. Between the spectrum of being rushed through white fluorescence and blaring techno, or candle lit lavender havens The Loft has the right balance. Danielle exudes charm that will put you right at ease, and the rest of the crew is interactive without having the feel of everyone's eyes being on you. Danielle is also great to brainstorm with. Other stylist will sometime raise an eyebrow at some of my ideas where as Danielle has a way of listening, amplifying, texturing and really creating a great look. Thanks you guys!

Finally I found the best Salon. I have had some bad experiences with salons in Seattle. Generally, the salons I have been to have really nice stylists but there was always something lacking in my color, cut or style. I am so thrilled I found The Loft. Charles and Johnny run a first rate salon and they take care of EVERYTHING. My color has never been better, it is perfect. Charles knows when I need my eyebrows waxed and sometimes they throw in a free mini facial while your hair is processing. My hair has never looked better or been healthier. The atmosphere is friendly and fun and the end product is exactly what you want. I HIGHLY recommend this salon!!

The only place I will go!. I've had a LOT of bad haircuts in my life. In fact, after a while, I wouldn't go to a "professional" at all. However, I figured I would give the Loft Salon a try when I needed a haircut before a show.

I'm so glad I did!

I was a little hesitant walking in. If you were to look at me, you wouldn't think I would go to a nice salon. I felt very welcomed by the staff and when I reached the desk, I was offered a coffee. It was really good.

Danielle was my stylist. She was extremely friendly and always smiling. We were chatting so much, my coffee got cold, haha! She worked her magic on me and when she was done, I looked better than I ever have. So, naturally, I keep going back to her!

I haven't experienced the rest of what the salon has to offer, so I can't write about that, but go see Danielle and she will make you look your best!

My Favorite Salon!. I have tried several of the top salons in Seattle and they are all very nice, but I could never relax in any of the salons i have tried. I am not sure if it was the atmosphere or the staff, but right when I walked into The Loft Salon I could see something different.I was immediately surprised by the cleanliness of the salon and how well everything was put together. The place was well lit and everybody seemed to be bustling around, but by the time i left i feel that i had spoken with every person that works there. They were all very dedicated to their work and it showed. My stylist, Shari is the most amazing stylist i have come across to date. She has a very uplifting attitude that made me feel comfortable, and she was even more knowledgable. Every question i asked her she gave me her honest opinion; furthermore, she walked me out of the salon with a new style that I never thought i could rock, but all the sudden i was. My confidence was up and I was ready to attack the world. Any salon that makes you feel that good deserves a review!
