Fresh Sushi, friendly staff, good price
by raindropsonroses at Citysearch
I have been to most sushi places around the Eastside and this is my favorite. The food is fresh and delicious and the prices are usually good for what you get. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly and after visiting this place about twice a month I feel like family when I walk in.
The food itself is much better than places like Sushiland. Don't listen to the reviews that would say otherwise, unless you want to eat your California rolls with brown avocado and warm krab. Then by all means, waste the money.
I visit Sushi Connections twice a month or more, and often find myself craving it. In fact, I think I will go there for dinner tonight...
- Pros: mostly everything
- Cons: there could be bigger portions on some items
ALL the pics are stolen from Sushi Land

These guys are total copycats...even down to copying EVERY single menu picture from Sushi Land's website - see for yourself!
When Sushi Land reads this they gonna be fried - as in calimari!!!
- Pros: Nothing original
- Cons: Completely copied - down to last pic
Better Catch up to Blue C
by Els at Citysearch
I had heard this place was the place to go, was even told that by people leaving as we walked in.
First off, I prefer to choose where I sit, instead of being seated by a smokey flavoured trucker with a baseball cap on.
The roe was mushy and smelled fishy, not popping in your mouth like fresh roe should be.
Tuna was presented in two warm pieces with some sort of BBQ powder on it and only two thin slices instead of 4 or 5 generous slices that you get from Blue C.
I was so disappointed, and even more so because the owner was so nice and friendly. I hope that he reads these and tunes it up a bit. Because until he does I will have to drive to Bellevue or Alderwood to feel like I am getting good sushi
- Pros: NICE NICE PEOPLE
- Cons: Bad Sushi

Well, this is not the best sushi place in the world. There are much better places, when I went the rice was all dried out, the fish actually smelled fishy (If you don't know, when a fish actually smells fishy then it is not fresh, and is not the best thing to eat)
I would rather go to Sushi land, its only about 10 minutes out of my way but it is worth it.
- Pros: Friendly staff
- Cons: Not fresh.. Kinda yucky
Sad Sushi
by findraven at Citysearch
Despite the other well written and generally happy reviews below..I think Sushi Connection needs to hear some honesty..
If you like your sushi fresh and well made don't expect that when you eat here.
It's Fast Food Sushi the warm sushi was cold and the cold sushi was warm. -
- Pros: Staff was friendly
- Cons: The sushi isn't fresh
