Growlers to go and a carefully curated tap list make this Ballard bar a favorite among beer aficionados and novices alike..
In Short
The interior of this 65th Avenue bar is all wood, from the bar to the ceiling to the floor, and there is a large squirrel mirror the bathroom-but what's really on the spot here is the beer selection. The list has choices from small Northwest craft breweries to lesser-known Belgians, and customers can come in with growlers and take their favorite beer home with them. By day, the bar is also a coffeeshop, serving Stumptown coffee and offering free Wi-Fi to neighborhood locals, some of whom stay all day, nourishing themselves on the small sandwich list-from tuna to adressed-up peanut butter apple-which is the bar's only food offering. Most patrons come to drink their dinner, anyway.
