**UPDATE below: Threatened..DONT BUY** DONT BUY their Groupons for Laser Hair removal....there is a reason they keep selling them thru Groupon...mass fast cash, and nothing for it. These guys have done these Groupons 3 times in just over a year, talk about a cash grab...,and this time they are increasing their 6 sessions to 8....hmmmm, looking for more quick cash from unsuspecting.

The Laser they use does nothing...the laser itself isnt that great (check reviews), thats why they say for any skin type...but on top of that I dont think they are changing the tips. I bought 2 - SIX session packages for them...that is 12 sessions for my legs...guess what...nothing has changed! I have had the pleaseure of going there for over 1.5 years.

I am not a virgin to laser hair removal...and I have the perfect skin type for it. Had my bikini done a few years ago, better laser, Better place...bikini free and clear. Now I have wasted alot of cash and more importantly alot of time.

As far as techs most were good, one I swear was just trained...but the worse is the manager KATY - OMG, this is one self centered, self absorbed, know it all....bad management!

Dont waste your time or money here, there are better places with results...pay a bit more and actually get something for your money!

**UPDATE: 9.26.12 - AURA Laser Skin Care just called my personal cell # to THREATEN that if I didnt change my HONEST review of them that they would take "Action." Are you flippin kidding me...these guys are sooooooo SHADDY!! They mislead customers, then are rude when they are questioned about their service, then they think they can try and STRONG ARM people into changing their reviews. These guys should be happy that I wrote such a tame review of them...I have much more I can say about their "service." And as far as the "client" contacting you because they arent happy....duuhhh, already did that and got Katy, the joke of a manager, telling me I didnt know what I was talking about, kept infering that I was not telling the truth about the service I got...I never complained once, but the first time I did have a concern, I saw their true colors. Dont worry about contacting them if u have a concern or issue, cause they will call you, and probably with a threat. BEWARE!!!!!!!

I am back to report i have completed my. I purchased the co2 fractional face and neck area.

I scheduled a consultation and met with the dr. I found him very sincere and informative. I received all the pertinent information regarding the outcome and my expectations.

He described the process step by step and i never felt rushed or brushed off as i had many questions and concerns and worried about scarring.

I am scheduled to have the treatment they called in all my prescriptions and an anti anxiety to help with my nerves on the day of. I was told i would need to have a DD=designated driver to take me home on the day of my procedure, i told them i didn't have anyone as i live alone and don't want anyone to know i have had anything done.

They arranged for a taxi to pick me up and take me home.

i am really impressed so far with the care and follow up i am receiving. I will post after my treatment is done to update about my experience. I find them top notch so far and the price is unmatched.

I had been searching for a reputable laser hair removal facility for my legs, when I came across Aura Laser and all of their awesome reviews online. I was getting ready to contact them and decided to sleep on it, and you can imagine my surprise when I woke up the very next morning to see a Groupon deal for them in my inbox! Bought it immediately! At the time of my first treatment, the technicians were very professional, extremely nice and made me feel very comfortable. I had 3 treatments since February and have 3 more to go. I have only had to shave a few times since then. I was shocked at how amazing the results were, only halfway through the series! Next week is my 4th appointment and I actually decided to go ahead and add 2 additional areas for next time. This place is really the best in every aspect.

I would have paid about 4000$ at a plastic surgeon office which my friend recommended and used. We compared our before and after care and results and she said to me she wished she would have waited to see how my skin would have turned out and she would definitely buy the 900$ Groupon which covered my face and neck instead of 4000$ for her treatment.

I tell everyone i meet who compliments me on my skin now about Aura and they have a very good referral program i have received free Botox, Restylane and have earned 2 fotofacials all free. I won't be using the fotofacials for sometime as i will not need them for a long time. The treatments don't expire and i can save them until i am ready to use them at my discression.

I never felt pressured at this clinic to buy anything extra. I felt everyone is genuinely interested in their field of work. They have a very nice upbeat and clean place it is an extremely busy place each time i have been there i see at least5-10 people coming and going in and out. I did run into my coworker who was having the same thing done. I also ran into one of my daughters friends moms...ha ha so if you don't want to run into people you know i would suggest going to another place.

Aura Laser Skin Care has earned my trust and will always have my business.

I love the way my skin looks and feels now. I am very happy that they only suggested one skin product to maintain my results and a skin wash and SPF.

All other clinics and spas i have visited are always selling a hundred different products to put on my face of which zero made a difference and it was a total loss of my hard earned money .

Misrepresented what was offer all. Misrepresented what was offer all the way to the end. I was getting laser treatment done for my eyes at a well now cosmetic surgery enter when I saw the Groupon for there CO2 laser treatments. I chatted on line with the head nurse who informed me that the eyes where included with the face treatment. So I bought it.

When I had my consultation with the doctor he concurred that the eyes where to be done too in that procedure. At the time of my treatment, he had my chart in his hands, he knew that I was using the Groupon. He was well aware of the areas on my lid that I was wanting fixed and he had said that he could get them ( in my consultation). All he had to protect me eyes from the laser were some patches that I didn't feel confortable with. I confirmed with the nurse previously that the eye protection would go in my eye, but those hadn't come in yet so all he had where these eye patches. I decided to let him do rest of my face and he said that I could come back later, after the right kind of eye protection came in and he would do my eyes. I confirmed with him that there would be no extra charge.

When It came time to scedule my appointment to finish my eyes. They said that eyes where't included in the Groupon, that the doctor made a mistake. I talked with the manager who was very rude and would let me speak. I had her on speaker phone so my faimily could hear her too. putting us on hold 3 times she came back and said that she had wasted 20 minutes talking to us, that the doctor wouldn't see me and she hung up on us.

Absolutely horrible, starting with the front desk, I walked in stood in front of desk while the receptionist talked on the phone, no eye contact, I sat waited for 10 minutes for her to acknowledged me. I have been there 2 times for laser hair removal and still have not actually had the treatment due to their screw ups that they refuse to admit. I would strongly discourage wasting your time and money on this place, not worth it!!

Front desk is atrocious. She ignored me completely, while talking to a coworker making fun of a customer who called worried that her laser treatment was ineffective. This girl was immature, made fun of the client, in front me myself and another person being ignored in the waiting room.

People don't want to know that private procedures are being made a joke in front of strangers. I know I wouldn't.

Not to mention, the place is SERIOUSLY FILTHY. These people are performing professional services on you and your skin, I would expect the place to be clean.

Machines are dusty, and greasy. Technicians have food and other random crap hanging out all over the room. Floors are dirty. I was given an appointment with a girl so sick she didn't even have a voice. Would you want that person 2 inches from your face? The sterilization equipment they use is the same stuff you or I would buy from Safeway.

I will not be returning to finish the remainder of my groupon treatments.

This place is disgusting.

Not so happy with the front desk~. The gal who did my first IPL was very nice and did a good job, which is more then I can say for the front desk women.I sat in the waiting room about 15 minutes~and listen to her put call after call on hold just to "chat" with whom ever was around about her life.

In spite of her I made another appointment.

The women at the front desk made an error on my appointment card, so I called and left a message to this, NO ONE called me back... When I called she instantly put me on hold when she did come back and I was able to explain she said SORRY it was an honest mistake (Which is was) but then she told me I had to wait an additional MONTH for an appointment. I was in mid-sentance three times and she cut me off and put me on hold. She said she would call me back and never did, I had to call again! VERY RUDE!

I had waited a month to get my first appointmen and I think it was because of the coupon which I feel is

UNEXCEPTABLE. Don't give them out if you can't sched.

I gave this place a 2 star only because Crissy did a good job.

A supervisor should have a stren talking with her about CUSTOMER SERVICE..Because she has none.

wowed by professionalism. Today was my first day into this clinic. I was greeted by a very enthusiastic front desk. although she seemed very busy she never made me feel like i was enconviencing her by asking questions. i was really nervous because it was my first time doing an photofacial. She simply put the calls on hold and let me know she would be able to answer my questions shortly. after about two minutes she directed her focus on me. All of my questions were answered and my service was amazing. My opinion of this clinic is a five star for customer service, a sterile environment and a staff that seems very educated with skin.

Unimpressed. I purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal at Aura in the fall of 2011. I can't really speak to the results yet, since I have only had 2 sessions, but I will say that the logistics of scheduling seem more complicated than necessary.

When I called to schedule my first appointment, it was a full month before I could get in. Fine.

When I went to my first appointment, I waited in line at the front desk (along with 2 other people) for a full 10 minutes while the receptionist was on the phone. Not so fine.

My second appointment somehow fell off of my calendar on my phone, so I called to verify my appointment date & time and it took 4 phone calls before I was able to get this information. Not a huge deal, just inconvenient.

When I went for my 2nd appointment, I waited again for several minutes to check in at the front desk while the receptionist was on the phone before I decided to just sit in the waiting area. After the appointment, I waited for the receptionist again to finish on the phone so I could schedule appointment #3.

Then, 2 weeks before my third appointment I received a message saying that my technician had been "called in to training" and I would need to reschedule. I called back and left a message attempting to reschedule. When I hadn't received a response after 9 days, I called again and (after being put immediately on hold), was told that there was no availability for 5 WEEKS!

This is pretty irritating.

I'm not sure if they have been overwhelmed by the volume of people trying to schedule because of Groupon purchases, or if they are always this busy, but it seems like they could justify hiring a second receptionist.

I would also recommend that if a technician is "called in to training", that another technician cover their appointments for the day, or that Aura leaves space in the schedule to accommodate these people who have been bumped from the schedule. 5 weeks is too long.

I gave 2 stars because that says "Sorta Good". The technicians are nice enough, and I am getting a great deal because of the Groupon, but overall I don't find this place to be very professional. I would not pay full price for the laser services here.
