Since its creation in 1927, the nursery has grown to sell thousands of plants like tropical shrubs, water plants, bonsai trees, grasses, full grown trees, garden flowers, and over 600 unique desert cacti. Helpful staff with take you through a tour of their grounds, answer any questions and help you pick your selection.

This place is not like their nearby corporate competitors. The Hashimotos actually know their stuff. They have been doing this for several decades. And they respect their craft since they put quality ahead of profits by purchasing from several reputable suppliers. The more you visit this nursery, the more likely they will actually remember you. The staff has been here forever. And the Hashimotos have been here even longer. In fact, you can spot several generations of Hashimotos as you walk the premises. You just don't get the same family feel at the nearby chain nurseries. I highly recommend this place. They have the most experience and knowledge of plants in the community. And they have been apart of the Westside forever. Would you trust a person who got trained from a corporate manual or someone who has knowledge passed down from generation to generation?
