Painless dentistry?

by jooz at Citysearch

Dr. Baker's staff was great, I had a simple cleaning, and it was very fast and almost painless. It's downtown, so convenient for walking, and there is available street parking, but that does take a little extra time...

  • Pros: almost totally painless teeth cleaning
  • Cons: downtown parking

PAINLESS IN SEATTLE

by Bradywa at Citysearch

I am a patient of Dr Theron Baker by default. When Dr Linda Johnson sold her dental practice. I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay or not.

I thought I would give Dr Baker a chance and I was pleasantly surprised!

For those of us who are not a big fan of the scaling of your teeth. (the scraping of plaque) Dr Baker's office provides sonic scaling which is a much more pleasant experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Dr Baker and his staff for a surprising pleasant dental experience! :-)

  • Pros: Friendly Staff! Very professional, validated parking.
  • Cons: NONE

Great practice

by rjbagley at Citysearch

I recently went to Dr. Baker for the first time and enjoyed my visit. During my initial evaluation he found something abnormal in my x-rays which my previous dentist had not seen. I was thankful for the way Dr. Baker handled my situation. He contacted my previous healthcare providers and consulted with other specialists to give me a confidant diagnosis. We set up a treatment plan and got it taken care of in a timely manner. The staff is great as well; sitting in the waiting room felt like being at home with family. They are all down to earth and pleasant. I could go on but will just say that i've found my dentist and recomend him.

  • Pros: Sings along to the radio with his staff.
  • Cons: Far away for me but worth the commute

Great dentist/hygenists

by architekt at Citysearch

I had been going here for a while when it was owned by Lynda Johnson. I stuck with it since the hygenists and everyone there are really nice. I hardly have to wait in the reception room and they're pretty quick but thorough on my regular 6 month cleanings. And maybe I'm just lucky with my teeth but unlike some other dentists I've gone to, it's not a painful experience.

Great Service, Friendly Staff, Informative

by RJatwood at Citysearch

I recently went to Dr. Baker for some fillings, and I thouroughly enjoyed my experience. The numbing shots are usually extremely painful for me, but with Dr. Baker it just felt like a tiny little poke. I really like his staff. They are extremely friendly, and everyone in his office is very informative. I always knew what was going on when they were working on me, and that made me feel a lot more comfortable. It was the most positive dental visit I've ever had.

  • Pros: informative, gentle, great staff
