Best pasta, ever!

A wonderful list of appetizers, then a handful of handmade pasta all so good it makes it hard to choose and then an entree course. Save room for dessert!! The avocado appetizer is a long time favorite and the pasta...I love trying the new ones every time we go to Cantinetta. I am a fan of the new Teres Major -- tastes and cuts like a Filet Mignon but without the price tag. Try the Bombolini if they are on the menu -- hot and sweet!!
- Pros: Delicate flavorful pasta dishes

This is a marvelous restaurant. The menu is balanced, the wine selection delightful. High marks to the staff for setting the tone for the dining experience: things go well from the moment you walk in the door. Great place for an after-work glass of wine with some light fare, or a luxurious dinner with each course surpassing the one before it. Five stars, for sure....enjoy!
- Pros: Great menu, attentive service
- Cons: Acoustics can be a bit difficult

4 star tasting

Went to a preview tasting and if the real deal is as good as that was then Wallingford is in for a treat. First, it is BEAUTIFUL inside -- warm, cozy and elegant but not stuffy. The menu looks great and full of meals for the vegetarian and the meat lover. All house and hand made pasta with great appetizers too. The wine list looked so good I cannot wait to go back when they are open for business in January. Try it!!!!!!!!
- Pros: Easy parking, comfy
- Cons: there isn't one on the Eastside!!
