great happy hour with specials on food and cocktails. And I just love the huge LED tree that casts a pretty glow on everything!

As Sushi goes this is a solid place. Love the room, tasty treats and an excellent cocktail program. Dont miss the roasted salmon collar!
So-so-shi. After failing to adequately put into words what we thought about this sushi joint, an acquaintance asked if it was "California"? And that's exactly what it was. The food was mediocre at best and maybe we should have had more sushi, but we figured we'd try a little of everything, and after our first few dishes, decided we had enough. The beef kushi sashi was overcooked and the hamachi sushi was nothing to write home about, but the poke dish we thought was delish. All in all, it was so-so-shi.
Seriously, the 3rd best Sushi in Seattle???. There's no way this is the 3rd best sushi place in Seattle. Small portions and it tasted like something I would buy wrapped up at QFC or Whole Foods. Disappointing menu.
Moshi Moshi is Yummy Yummy. This restaurant is very pretty with the rooms focus being a lit up cherry blossom tree and the simplicity of the seating is great. I just took a quick glimpse into the bar which had one couple sitting there who looked like they were fully inmeshed in each others conversation....this gave the bar such a romantic touch. They have a great happy hour with lots of great choices at even greater prices. I was in Ballard on business and ended up dining on my own, so I wish the sushi chefs would have been more conversational with me and the others sitting at the sushi bar, but that's ok...the food still made me smile even if the chefs didn't.
Great place. I went to this place for my birthday. A great treat. Cocktails are unique, and we had the chef's special sushi plate, really good stuff. They have a cherry blossom tree that lights up in the evening, really cool!
Bad experience. I went there with a couple of friends for dinner. The waitress was very polite but everything we ordered came in the wrong order (i.e sushi came before miso soup) and at different times (i.e. each person in the group was served at a different times). I ordered the yellow tail cheek special entree and that is all I got; just a hunk of fish (for a crazy amount of money). The sushi was mediocre at best and stomach churning at worst. My friend couldn't stomach some of the 'chef selection'. Will definitely not go there ever again! Never thought I could have bad sushi like this and at the price they are charging! I would give it zero stars if I could!
Classy decor and great fish. Stopped into the bar to give it a try. Very classy and tasty martinis...and the nigiri I had was great! Also a very pretty place; I would recomend for the atmosphere too. They had flown specials in from Tokyo that morning....worth it!
Lovely atmosphere, great food. Great little spot in Ballard! Not only is the sushi great, but the decor and atmosphere make for a great date night.
Sushi cool in Ballard. Ballard finally has come full circle with Moshi Moshi opening. Stylish decor fused with an amazing menu equal's a happy belly! These folks definitely know what their doing...
Editorial Review. Sophisticated sushi is the name of the game at this inventive and intimate outpost on Ballard Ave.
