AutoPro - Curtious and willing to work with you.. I have never had a good experience from an auto repair shop untill i visited autopro.

I was heading up the hill and my car started over heating, started smoking, pulled off the road and just sat. No sure what to do i called my parents only to be yelled at about how tight money is and how we cant afford anything. So sitting there with my dead car, couldnt drive it with the risk of causing more damage, I see a guy running accross the street to me and he says he from the auto repair shop from across the street, and was wondering if i needed help becuase my car had alot of smoke coming from under the hood. I told him that i didnt want to drive it in case of risking more damage. He said he would push it across the street to his shop for me (AutoPro). We got it over there and he started to look it over, checking fluids and my radiator and inspects all my hoses and says that all is just fine. He asked if he could take a further indepth look at it and take of the "thermostat housing". Not knowing anything about cars I said sure. Take that off to find that my thermostat was stuck open and had a lot of gunk stuck there. He cleaned it and ordered a new one for me, Only cost $15. part was there in 30 minutes only took him 5 minutes to install it. I was back on the road with in an hour of being there. 1 1/2 months later: Cars still keeps cool, has never over heated since, and i am still shocked that this fix was only $15! These guys are really there to help out the consumer in this economy! I am deffinetly going back if i ever run into problems again!

Never use Auto Pro in Skyway!. After having a bad experience with a mobile mechanic I called Auto Pro to put a brand new manufactured engine into my Toyota Camery. The motor had 0 miles on it and cost me $1300. I went with Auto Pro because I had lost a lof of money and they were willing to work with me in making the payments to put the new motor in my car. I was told that it would not be towed or sold and that there would not be any extra fees because of slow payment. Anyway after paying off the initial quote to put my motor together and in my car of $700 the new guy then tells me that I had to pay an extra $400 for them to put the remaining parts on my car. I being a woman did not know that all of this should have been included in the first quote of $700 but because it had taken me 7 months to pay them off I went ahead and paid the extra money to get my car out of their shop. In all I spent about $2000.00 in a new motor and parts for my car. I drove the car for exactly a week and a half and my brand new motor was gone. Upon inspection I was told that my engine had no oil plug and that there was no oil in my car. I was livid because this was a brand spanking new motor. I called Auto Pro back and their first response was that it was not thier fault and that I would have to buy a new motor. Of course I was pissed. The guy at the store then tells me that it wouldn't make sense for me to sue because I would loose the owner has more money than me and would win. He the refused to give me contact information for the owner. Come to find out it was because that extra $400 he charged was his pocket money. When I told him that I would be contacting a lawyer no matter how much money the owner had he then called me saying that they were going to fix my car but it would take a couple of weeks. That was two months ago and I still do not have my car. I have tried calling their corporate office and there is never anyone there to pick up the phone. I am sooooo frustrated with this company and all I want is my car back fixed to transport my baby and I. I know for a fact that because I am a single woman these people are taking advantage of me. I would never ever ever reccomend anyone to this shop. Oh yeah the guy even had the nerve to tell me if I knew of anyone that needed work on their cars send them there and he would put that money towards getting me a used motor. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?
