canadian mastercard surprise
by screwed canadian at Citysearch
This company contracted to supply and install countertops in Canada. Not legal! Many shenanigans occurred such as their declaration to us that Customs had denied their entry due to "excessive radiation" in the granite. Right! Finally, the product arrives, pieces broken and pieces missing. Suddenly, it is "our" responsibility! We disputed the bill as a result of their business practices. They did not respond. A few months later, a new charge is made against our Mastercard. Whoa! Not only were we not communicating with this company, we were not even in town when they claimed to have had me sign this charge slip. Now that's tricky! We sued these slippery fellows only to be advised by the court that their "contract" placed all responsibility on the buyer. Gosh, there's that buyer beware stuff again. Well, this Canuck will think twice (or never) about dealing with these upstanding individuals again. Seattle area.....be careful!
- Cons: Unauthorized mastercard charge, bad contract
Home Interior Pro Used To Be The Granite Cabinet Store
by keiki1 at Citysearch
Home Interior Pro used to be The Granite and Cabinet Store but changed names. Probably for the sketchy way they do business. I am convinced their positive reviews they are writing themselves. The demo and installation people they send out are rude, and act like you know nothing, and they are doing you a big favor. Long miserable story short I took a finacial hit just to get away from these guys. Someone else did the job. Watch out for their contracts.
- Pros: They Seem Great
- Cons: The service techs that come to your house, Extra charges.
This is the place to get your granite countertops!

I was looking for granite counter tops for a couple of weeks and was getting a little discouraged when I stopped in at Home Interior Pro. All the other places I had been had poor customer service, high prices and the only samples they had for you to take home were little broken pieces that didn't give you a clear idea of what you were getting.
As soon as I walked in to Home Interior Pro, Viktor was polite and answered all my questions without being pushy. The selection they have is great, and they have real sample pieces for you to take home and look at. Viktor let me take home as many samples as I wanted and when I came back to get some different ones there was never a problem or a push to just pick one as I had at the other shops I visited.
When it comes to price and service, I don't beleive you will do better than Home Interior Pro. From the time I made my selction to instalation was under a week, and what a beautiful job they did! Their attention to the details is great, I didn't believe my kitchen could look so good.
Thank you Viktor and the installers, I will be sending everyone I know to your store, this is one very satisfied customer!
- Pros: Exceptional customer service
- Cons: None!

BUYERS BEWARE
by Bad Experience at Citysearch
What a horrible experience! First, the total due was $300 more than proposal. Then, they delayed giving us a current Disclosure Notice & reduced the bond amount from $10,000 to $6,000. They also made a big hole in our wall, saying we needed to repair it. Due to their errors, they had to do 2 templates. 5 days later, they called saying we gave them the wrong measurements, so we needed to buy another slab ($1300), or our counter would have seams (although the contract states a template would be made to check measurements & the counters would not have seams) My husband resolved the issue by figuring out a new layout. The next day the Owner called saying the granite fabrication was delayed because of us so installation needed to be rescheduled. We again referred him to the contract, but he said it was our fault, and we needed to decide on a new date. Since we already paid 75%, we felt we had no other option. After the existing counter demo, the Owner called again saying we needed more work (@ $730+). We paid the final balance due and picked up the fabricated granite/remnants, backsplash, & sink. We notified them that 5’ of backsplash was missing; they said we could buy more for $220. BUYERS BEWARE!
