very friendly atmosphere. I stopped in for lunch for the first time the other day and must say I felt very welcome. The spicy chicken was very good. I will definitely be back soon.

Best Teriyaki place in Bellevue. This place is really close to my home and I often come here for lunch or dinner if I'm feeling lazy to eat at home. Like gwwwww has said, after a couple of visits, she will immediately say Hi Deric! Chicken Katsu? Which is what I order all the time there. The portions are huge for the amount of money that you pay. You get a huge scoop of rice and a delicious salad. They also serve this great soup that is free. I feel so at home when I eat there. PLUS sometimes she gives me free little gyozas (pot sticker) with my order which usually cost extra. GREAT PLACE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Everyone is welcome to join the "I Love Teriyaki" family!. Located in a small strip mall next to SR520 in Bellevue, "I Love Teriyaki" looks like a typical teriyaki place. However, this family owned shop will instantly make you feel like a part of the extended family. After just a few visits, the owner will greet you by name and, if you're like me and are pretty consistent, she'll know your order before you even ask. The portions are generous and there is complementary soup, water, and tea (self-serve). The rice is fantastic...so fantastic that my wife was compelled to ask how they do it: they have a special high-volume, high-temp, gas powered commercial rice cooker. Not the sort of thing you're going to be able to pick up in Chinatown. What really sets this place apart is the service, which as I mentioned is super friendly. One time, I brought my young daugther, who almost always gets the udon noodles...only they had run out of noodles. My daughter was so disappointed that the chef ran home to pick up some yakisoba noodles that they had at home (luckily it was after the lunch rush and they weren't too busy). Now that is truly "above and beyond".

Menu is almost entirely MSG-free (except the commercial soup base that they use...and which they fully disclose on several handwritten but prominently displayed signs). Highly recommend!
