As close to a scam as a storage place could be. First - their $1 for the first month is total hogwash. It costs a min. of $35 to do their "registration" process - and that's if you waive all the extra insurance and crap. Then, if you sign up mid-month you really only get the rest of that month for $1 (well, $35 plus $1) - they call you up on the end of the month and tell you your next payment is due because their billing cycle is month to month. They make you pre-pay for each month - and then don't refund you if you move out before the end of that month. Basically, you get it up the rear coming and going.
