Good and Not so Great. The Good:

They have good attention to detail and do and excellent job with the manicuring, shaping and buffing of my hand and toe nails.

I like the smallness of their team- you know the person you are getting and they are VERY dependant on repeat business- so they really try to do a good job.

The price is affordable.

Sometimes when it is not busy the younger woman will give you an amazing shoulder massage- yummy! (please note this only happens when it is NOT busy)

The Not So Good:

Somethimes they are a bit too aggresive with the file and the buffer- it actually has gotten so hot from friction I've pulled my hand away

They CONSTANTLY upsell while you are there- it's a bit uncomfortable. The older lady sits by you and badgers you to bring your firends in to get a manicure and upsells the Shillac polish

Even Hop herself is always trying to sell you on services- to the point where it's pressure sales.

The ladies who do the foot massage do a half-assed job. If your going to be a pedicurist don't be afraid to touch people's feet!

Lastly when I got my last pedicure they had the TV blaring on the Lifetime station with a very uncomfortable movie about Rape... really? Could you change the channel- or better yet have some nice relaxing spa music in the background instead?

Friendly, but.... Been there 3 times for pedicures. The first time, the guy pedicurist used a dremel to shape my nails, which I liked, but was a bit aggressive with the callous shaver, which I didn't. (My heels cracked afterwards.) The second time, the pedicurist was a woman who was more gentle, but badgered me constantly about coming in for a manicure as well. The third time I asked for the guy again and instructed him not to shave the heels. So he stuck with the ball of my foot and sliced centimeter-long piece of skin off. He wasn't paying attention to where my callouses start and regular skin begins. They were very apologetic and treated the bleeding with antiseptic and a bandaid, but I will not go back.

Best nail place in Seattle. My sister and I got stellar manis/pedis today--everyone who works there does a great job. They are friendly, professional, and do top notch work!

The cleanest nail salon!!. A great manicure and pedicure experience! The staff was so friendly, definitely offers great customer service. The owner, Hop, was so nice; she welcomed me to the shop the moment I stepped in. This is the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to!!! Everything is tossed out after one use. You'd think the prices are higher because of their cleanliness, but it's opposite of that. Great Happy Hour prices. Check it out, you won't regret it!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!. NOT WORTH TIME AND MONEY...

More like dollar store quality.

I got my mani and pedi done by this viet dude who didn't listen to a word i said. I wanted my nails cleaned but he went straight to adding nails. As much as I've had my nails done at Viet owned nail salons, I'm practically fluent. "Doo ma" was dude's fave. Every comment and correction I made him do, he responded with some sarcastic, snub comment in vietnamese, incl. the eyerolls. It's not my fault that he doesn't like his job!

I refused to pay for half the service because of his attitude and his express service. I did tip the receptionist for being kind and expressing most sincere, genuine apologies for the 'dude.'

best Nail Salon Ever. This place is awesome. It's a great price, they're extremely meticulous and the mani/pedi's last forever. It doesn't hurt that they have great customer service either. Definately worth a visit.

I love this place. I had a manicure, pedicure and some nail designs done at SpaHop today and it was wonderful. I felt so relax, it's definitely one of the better nail salons in the downtown area. The workers were so enthusiastic and friendly. It was well worth the money, I'll be back to this place soon!
