I finally made it out to check this out, I was originally very confused as I would see advertisements about the great vegan options but would check the website and see none listed. I think they are in the process of figuring this out. But they did provide me information via email which was very helpful. I was also suprised to learn they have free parking which at green lake can be tricky. There are many vegan options, but it is not a vegan restuarant so everyone can be happy. They list which items can be made vegan on their menu board and I believe they use the Daiya cheese which melts suprisingly well and taste pretty good too. They also allow you to add all the extra toppings you want to your pizza at no additional charge, while the pizzas can be pricey additional toppings normally add up so this is a great bonus. They even have tofu. I can't wait to try the rosemary chese bread. They have slice specials during the day as well in case you dont need a whole pizza.
This is pizza?. We tried this place for the first time recently and the pizza was awful. The crust, the sauce and the cheese were all terrible. I enjoy all types of pizza. There are times when I'm in the mood for Northlake, Wallingford, Tutta Bella, Olympia, Pegasus and even Pagliacci, but I can't imagine the circumstances when I'd choose to eat this pizza again.
Great Pizza - Loved the White Pie.
I was visiting my son in Seattle and didn't want to have a full meal for dinner, so i decided to try Turnpike Pizza in Green Lake. They sell by the slice, but I ended up ordering a full White Pie, which was terrific. I am glad I went. Easy parking, and a beautigul view of the lake.
I will be back.
