Jane is a blast!.
Jane is a God send. I stumbled upon her through another search engine and am so lucky! I started going to her when she had a small room in the back of a Korean hair salon. She now has her own awesome space just a few doors down. I have sent all my friends to her and we frequently make it a group event because she is so much fun! It's like a party in her lobby!
I started going to her because I wanted to try threading. She now takes care of it all for me! She will school you on all kinds of skin issues. She is also a master of brows. She'll explain how they should look and help you get to where you need to be.
I went to her through my pregnany...which some of you may know - causes more hair than you would think humanly possible. She makes you feel comfortable and puts you at ease with her humor. It is not uncommon to hear laughter coming from her clients when you are waiting in the lobby. Not everyone can say they laugh like crazy while have hair removed!
Everyone I have sent to Jane says the same thing "I love her!" It is so easy to make an appt. You can call text or email her. She is a one woman show so text and email may work best. I don't know why anyone would complain about this because it also allows for her to have the best prices around. I don't know about you but I love being at work and not having to call and make an appt for my brazillian over the phone. I can send a discrete email or text and I am good to go!
I could you go on forever but 'll end here. I challenge anyone to find a more fun exprerience at a better price or higher quality job. I love her!!!
OK procedure, bad customer service.
The owner, Jane is both the receptionist and the esthetician. She was nice during the appointment, competent and did an overall a good job with my eyebrows. There are not so many places that do eyebrow threading, so I made another appointment with her. However, I was not able to make it and canceled 2 days prior to it. She is not available over the phone, so one has to leave a message. I don't know, whether she listens to envelope info, but when I called back to make a new appointment, she started to go off about me making a cancelation less than 24 hoursbefore the appointment and how unacceptable that was. When I mentioned that I did call ahead of time and am quite certain about that, she said that why wouldn't I go look for services elsewhere, since she just can’t stand "arguing with her clients" as she put it.
So the bottom line - she can do the work, it’s the attitude that changes as soon as you don't agree with her even on minor issue.
P.S. Don't worry if you don't hear from her all day after you leave her a voicemail at 8am. She might just call you at around 9pm and "make your day" like she did mine.
