Inexpensive Tasty Vietnamese in the Heart of Ballard. The Monkey Bridge is one of my favorite spots in Ballard. The pho, noodle bowls and rice dishes are all great, but the best deal by far is the bahn mi! For around $5 at lunch and $7 at dinner you can get a delicious baguette sandwich and a cup of soup. Sandwich options are chicken, pork, beef, or vegetarian and are piled with marinated meat, fresh carrot, daikon and cilantro. The soup that comes with it vary by day and are simple and tasty. Monkey Bridge serves lunch and dinner and princes range from around $5 to $10 for a meal.
