Charming place. It is indeed a very charming cafe with eclectic interiors, good zoning for privacy and lots of details to rest your eye upon.

As for the menu, one item simply made me laugh though - their sardine plate :) what do you think it is? it is a can of sardines, served on a plate with 3 slices of bread :)))) Best choice :)))))

Many choices of strong flavorful coffee.. The main reason to visit this establishment is its many choices of strong flavorful coffee. Enjoy your delicious brew in one of the velvet covered chairs in the café, or on a sunny day enjoy the outdoor seating and people watch in this busy Capitol Hill neighborhood. This venue also shows Indie films on Sunday nights in the café, as well as offering wine that can be enjoyed outside on a summer evening.

Classy Cafe with a Touch of Theater. This venue has all the class of an old stage theater with the knowledge and experience of a great cafe. Located at the north end of Broadway's nightlife, this location is a great way to end a night. As quirky as it is cool, from the velvet chairs to the dark wooden counters to the heart shaped birdcage chandelier, this venue is as exciting to the eyes as it is to the nose.

Offering, roughly, a dozen types of coffee beans on any given day, Roy's also offers a wide variety of teas and wine. Additional notable benefits include a large pastry selection and free wi-fi.

Don't be fooled. This is a Starbucks cafe, but don't be blind because it's also a great place to relax and enjoy some well made coffee.
