Yuck!. I thought that I was going to avoid sleeze-ville since I was getting a month-to-month with the gym. However, I did sign up for a trainer with a year contract (who was really good by the way-Jeannie). I had to cancel suddenly, and went in & explained that I was cancelling both, and was told both were cancelled and got a confirmation email paper and email. They proceded to bill my training account, apparently never having closed it, then charged me an additional $150 in late fees and fees for "insufficient funds" since I no longer had the credit card they had on file. I tried to talk to people and got a huge runaround and total incompetence, along with just dumb derogatory remarks to me about why I would cancel one without the other, or why I would not have sufficient funds in my bank account when I had a financial agreement with them. The pool and hot tub here were always more than a little slimy and dirty, and it was hard to get a machine in the early evening. They also had only conservative news stations, and the song "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me" played way too much. Yuck!
