Fantastic to be able to purchase humanely raised and processed meats in the neighborhood. I purchased some organic, humanely raised, nitrate free bacon and it was among the best we've ever had. The shop staff was very helpful and friendly. A great butcher- highly recommended.

Geared towards meat-eaters with a conscience willing to pay a little extra for better-tasting, humanely raised beef, pork, lamb and poultry, this charming brick-and-chrome butcher shop has already garnered a devout following among the local fooderati. Soon, Rain Shadow Meats will also be offering to-go pots of cassoulet or other hearty mains for those who desire a gourmet meal to re-heat at home.
