There’s a one-year membership fee of $5, and their regular bowls start at $19. The Cobra Lounge also offers a premium list of shisha shipped in from United Arab Emirates, which they state burns longer. The hookahs are hand-painted in bright, festive colors, and offer a splash of vibrancy in an otherwise muted, laidback room. The clientele is young, tattooed and impossibly cool, but somehow when the lights dim and the live music begins, all pretenses fade away with a puff of Raspberry Wormwood “Razzle Dazzle”.
