Feels like family. We have been here several times and it always feels like family there. the chicken dishes are excellent and the staff is very personable. Don't forget to try the soup.
we were the only customers. We ordered deserts. Overpriced, lukewarm coffee, no espresso or capuccino. Desserts? Creme brulee tastes like instant pudding. Chocolate cake or tiramisu did not taste fresh or homemade. Italian restaurant? I say - no way! Good food? NO WAY. I am just glad we stopped for dessert.
disappointed!.
I question the authenticity of all the other reviews posted here because this place was not that good. "Best restaurant on the Eastside", really?. When we arrived, our reception was lukewarm (at best) and it only got worse. They are listed on this and other sites as "kid friendly" but it's more like "kid-tolerant". I had my two kids with me and when we were seated, we were handed one dinner menu. When I asked for the kids menu, you would have thought I was asking for the world. Jimmy, our server, was clearly annoyed and I am not sure why. My kids were still on their good behavior at this point! We were there early on Saturday night so we did not experience the music, but the food was average at best. I had the Spaghetti de Mare which was overcooked. The pasta was mushy and the shrimp was dry and tough. Even the kids didn't like their spaghetti - they said it tasted "funny". The atmosphere was cozy, romantic and comfortable and
Jimmy's attitude improved over the course of the meal, so by the time the check came he was quite pleasant. Imagine that.
Overall, it wasn't an entirely unpleasant experience but I can't think of any reason why we would eat here again.
A hidden gem in Country Village.
As we wandered around the historical Country Village shops we found this hidden Italian Restaurant. We decided to go in because we overheard some music. I must say I was with my boyfriend but the guy who greeted us in the front OMG.. ok ok, lets talk about the food. The restaurant was almost full, for a Saturday you would expect that. We were lucky to have found a table right by a window overlooking the patio and the fountain, it was so romantic. We stayed there for a long time. At one point I looked up and all I could see was different couples on every table having the time of their life and probably falling in love again with an ambiance like that. Food is fabulous as are all of the little treats.
You will only be disappointed if you chose not to dine in this amazing restaurant.
Mama Mia... Best restaurant on the Eastside. The reviews on here are spot on. We went there first time on a Friday night. We didn't make a reservation but we were lucky to get a table. The whole restaurant was already full from pre booked reservations and people continued to stream in asking about how long it would be. Service was very quick and excellent even though it was full. Also how can we forget about the live music that was playing. It was a Jazz player, she had an amazing voice. You can't find a restaurant like Vivendo's anymore where food is amazing, service and they take the time to provide music as well. we had meals such as pastas with seafood which was excellent and veal which I can say by far that any restaurant that can make veal like this is a very excellent restaurant. They are new so they need some support on expanding but so far they are doing everything write. Need to visit if you haven't yet but make sure you make a reservation.
Best Italian Food.
Bothell's best for sure!
had a very good time there a few days back. Very delicious food, very nice decor, service was superb! I especially enjoyed music, they played a lot of good classics. looking forward to going back again very soon.
If you visit the bar they have the best "Long Island ice tea" in town!
Bothels Best. Had great time with a group of friends. Could not ask for more at this place, the service was spectacular and the food was amazing. We'll definitely come back soon, and looking forward to trying other things from their menu.
Best italian food.
Went for dinner with my wife. Food was amazing. Best chicken lasagna I have ever had. It was a special for the night.
Very romantic, great place to go walk around after eating.
