is pairing wines with the Italian-inspired menu, and the other half is chatting with the staff: The owner will stop by to say hi, and by the end of the first drink, the bartender treats you like an old friend. Wines by the glass are $5-$8 and food is in the same price range, though the best deal is three half portions of any of the sandwiches or salads plus a bowl of fresh fruit for $8. Cheap prices, excellent food and tons of character should keep this wine bar in the black.…
