Really good guys

I was having some trouble starting my car at times and a friend referred Seattle Auto to me. I was very impressed with the service and honesty of the owner David. He was helpful and gave me some options and recommendations but did not force them on me like it was life or death. Thanks David. Take your car there, you will be happy you did.

Well treated first time service

Bottom line: Dave (owner) and the staff treated me and my car problem in a timely and efficient manner. They diagnosed the problem (deficient tire) and walked me through the steps with how to address this problem with Les Schwab. They did not charge me for their diagnosis and their assistance helped advocate for myself with the management at Les Schwab. I will be going back to them, to be sure!

Nice People, Excellent Service!

I made a Citysearch account specifically so I could write a review about the Seattle Auto Service Center. I have had two separate experiences here that have both been above and beyond in terms of quality. Both times I have had to go in on very little or no notice at all, and they have made time for me and made sure my car was fixed before they closed. They have been very patient, answered all my questions, and made sure I knew what they were going to do before actually fixing anything. I especially appreciate this because I'm not a car person, and it's nice to have someone answer your questions. Their prices are very reasonable and they also offer a small student discount, which is nice on the grad student budget. I'm really happy to have found such a trustworthy business that I know will do great work on my car.

Incredible service!

I recently had car trouble - stalled and died in he middle of a busy Seattle road! Knowing next to nothing about cars I had no idea what it was (battery, alternator, starter) and had no idea where to take it (it was after hours and I had to have it towed somewhere.) Coming down Roosevelt I had passed this shop many times so I just told the tow truck driver to take it here and I would deal with it the next morning. Totally blind decision...knew absolutely nothing about this place - just dropped it there and left my key, all the while fearing I had just opened my self (and my wallet) up to a potential draining situation by an unscrupulous mechanic. Boy was I completely surprised and thrilled with the service and the professionalism of the guys at this shop!! I called first thing the next morning when they opened and they had already diagnosed the problem and had it being worked on. In what I feared from past experiences would be a mechanic's dream opportunity to upsell me on a new set of brakes, rewiring the electrical system or have a complete engine overhaul turned into a simple battery replacement! I was relieved that my bank account would remain intact but moreso that I had found an incredible, honest, professional and totally pleasant experience at a garage - one that had eluded me all my life! I want to commend all the folks at Seattle Auto Center for the way they handled my situation. They said they would call me when it was ready and they did. They were totally open to being there a bit past closing when I was held up in traffic coming to pick up the car. I couldn't have asked for a better end to what started out as an ugly stalled car situation! Thanks to David and the crew here and, dare I say, I look forward to the next time I need a good mechanic (which I hope will be never but we all know that hope!) TOTALLY recommend these guys for all your auto needs!!
