For the last 8 months now, Kathy's has had karaoke 3 days a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting a little after 9pm and goes till 1am (1:30am on Friday). The karaoke at Kathy's is some of the best in North Seattle! The karaoke host, Glenn, is awesome and does his job well. The current song list is already pretty extensive and Glenn is continually gathering new song choices. Many times, he has the song you want even if its not in the printed books on the tables. The atmosphere in the karaoke space is awesome. For one, the sound quality is right on. There is plenty of seating (I estimate between 70-90) and about 8 TV screens that display the words. There is also a decent space in the middle of the floor to move around and to let people dance if they wanted. There is an excellent light set up (even a disco ball) giving the area inviting and rocking feel. If there is any downside, it is the karaoke crowd has been light, though after going there for the last 3 months, I am confident in saying this has nothing to do with the quality you get but more with the current lack of word about this place as a karaoke venue. I have a great time every time I go, the people are friendly, and bartenders there (Sarah and Tyler) are attentive. With a great host, song selection, and venue, I would recommend this place to everyone, especially karaoke enthusiasts.

Good food, drinks and atmosphere.. Kathy's is a great place to go watch a game or knock back a few beers. the service is quick and friendly; likes to joke with you and whatnot. Their Happy hour is right up your alley when you strapped for cash, you get great deal on food and drinks. This is also a great place to go see a UFC fight.

Great Sports bar!. I went here with my husband to watch the Seahawks game last weekend. They have great food and lots of TV's it was great to finally see a winning game on a projection screen. I use to go here when it was Farrells as a kid so it was pretty cool to see it now. The bar is really clean and looks like it would be fun to go to in the evenings. I will be back- maybe for a game of Beer Pong?!
