What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
Housed in the same funeral home where Bruce Lee's service was held in 1973, The Pine Box is, in contrast, alive and kicking. The old Butterworth Funeral Home is the full-time residence of the new booze beacon co-owned by Ian Roberts, the previous manager of Brouwer's Cafe and co-founder of Seattle Beer Week. The Box boasts 33 beers on tap and a menu that soars above and beyond traditional bar food, offering flatbreads, lamb loin and tenderloin--most of which are cooked in a ceramic wood oven. This is the type of "last call" you want to be a part of.

Impressive tap & bottle selection, lots
of local & plenty of international. Focus is on the brew but they offer a few bites. Great upstairs.
