Top Pot Doughnuts

Top Pot Doughnuts is the reigning king of fried goodness in Seattle and for good reason--they're delicious. And just like the dough when it's been properly fried in oil, these shops are popping up everywhere. The hand-forged doughnuts come in several varieties, as all good junk food should: twists, glazed, cake, filled. And did you know Top Pot has gotten into the ice cream business? They're scooping some of their most popular doughnut flavors (apple fritter, maple bar, double trouble chocolate, lemon) at the Ballard shop, right next to Trader Joe's. Now, you can have your cake doughnut and eat its namesake ice cream, too!
