Bigfood

Don't judge a food truck by its cover. If you did, you'd either think Bigfood--adorned by a very large sasquatch--offered Hungry-Man-type food or was a nod to the Sonics. In fact, neither is correct. There are no giant bowls of chili or steaks fresh from the day's kill or burgers with Gary Payton's jersey number branded into them; Bigfood is all about fresh, healthy and locally-sourced ingredients. Now open at the Armory at Seattle Center, Bigfood's menu is doused with signature flatbread sandwiches, basmati rice bowls and other fusion-heavy foods that tow the line between Caribbean and Indian. So, the next time you want to feel satiated, look for the sasquatch. It's the stuff urban (ape-like) legends are made of.
