What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
The Chow Foods guys (Hi-Life, 5 Spot, Enolyne Joe's) are back at it again, reclaiming their old Jitterbug spot and turning it into a taqueria complete with walk-up window; food truck cuisine served inside a comfortable restaurant setting. The place is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but don't let the time of day dictate your cravings. If you want huevos rancheros for dinner and something called a hamburguesa for breakfast, you've come to the right spot. Like the rest of the Chow restaurants, this shoebox-sized eatery focuses on familiar ingredients and family-friendly vibe. An authentic Mexican food truck it is not, but it does fill a nice pre and post-movie nosh spot. Just look for the bright yellow storefront across from the Guild 45th theater.
