Mediocre pot roast.. Being known for Pot Roast, I had some expectation. This is a place that I drive past once in a while. So I stopped by one night and had the Pot Roast. The food was something I think I could cook better, so if I can do better, what is the point of their pot roast?

The first problem is the meat they use, it is far too lean and tough. They don't cook it long enough so it come out stringy and it is definitely not tender. The mashed potatoes are decent, but nothing to write home about. The side salad is a joke, it's 90% lettuce, 9.9% croutons and one cherry tomato and the balsamic dressing is strictly store bought quality (bad diner quality). The gravy is fairly tasty but it had a crust on it, which means it was sitting out for a while. The steamed broccoli and carrots were way too soft and mushy.

If you want great pot roast, go elsewhere. If you want homemade pot roast, make it at home and save a few bucks.
