FAIL. WORLD CLASS CUSTOMER FAIL! Let me start off by saying it takes a lot to make me walk out of a place so I never do but it takes even more for me to ride out such a horrible experience and leave without a tip. Frankly it takes a lot to get a bad review out of me the lack of attention to detail, basic communication, sense of urgency, and a basic understanding of customer service. Marie the other server and kitchen staff get an overall grade of F which stands for FAIL. And let me share why, not because I want something back or free but for the sake of your business I don’t like to see people fail at what they do. So start off with customer service introduce yourself it takes one second if you forgot to put the order in own up to it same goes if you are swamped I am not saying make an excuse but just own up to your short comings, communicate don’t avoid me I don’t bite I promise I will actually get less mad if I am in the loop! There is no reason why the other waitress who was helping out at the bar and only came to help out the section if she knows the people who sit in the section. Why is there like 6 people working in the kitchen? If your waitresses are struggling why are you calling out orders four Separate times? That goes with the sense of urgency that is money sitting there why treat them like crap because you cannot get your act together. This is my suggestion your hostess seats them gets them drinks and tell the server that someone is sitting in his/her section if she see him /her struggling tell the other server who is not busy to get in there and help! instead of calling out a order 4 times do it once and then run it out. There is a reason why she did not get it the 4-6 other times you called her with her order up. Maybe I came in on an off night or the servers are new or it was every person for themselves night. But here is the bottom line there is no excuse for 3 rolls of sushi that was mediocre at best to take 45 minutes a server who comes to your table no exaggeration two times to get the order and to give the check and For the hostess to stop by the table more times and for the manager or chief or owner (who ever that was) give you your food and say are we “good”..... Seriously? If you have to ask than you know something is off or wrong. I am not one to tell how you how to run your business but I have seen more from less people in a restaurant. Something has to give and I just hope you can fix what you cannot get right in the first place and I wish you the best of luck!
Great sushi, Bad customer service. Me and my girlfriend go to trappers sushi at least once a week and have been for a while. Sometimes we go twice. Great food and great sushi. Im very happy we dont have to go to a bigger city to get good sushi. The only negitive part is the customer service. just small things like your drink not getting refilled and you waiting or like tonight, we got our check and my card sat at the table to be picked up for a while. The waitress walked right by at least three times and looked at it. Alot of restaurants, the waiter or waitress are on top of the drinks and such, because they want to "earn" there tip. Not here. The girl dident even care. The same with the Hostess. Dont expect her to be real friendly eather.
It doesn't get any better. This is the best sushi you are going to find south of seattle
