Worst experience......
I stopped in at Lake Forest Bar & Grill on Friday afternoon (2/10) for a late lunch. The server was horrendous... I had to flag her down for every single request. Kara was her name. She never once
asked if I needed anything.
However, the worst part was the food. I ordered the Happy Hour burger. Well, the tip off was that it had a smell, like the meat was almost rotten. I was sooo hungry, I ate it. Needless to say, the next day was spent in day with gastric problems.
But the killer was I went up to the front desk on my way out and two young ladies there totally ignored me and then walked away. A man walked by and I asked if he was the manager. Well, I can tell who trained Kara. He could have cared less about my experience. His only response was "that's not good". I asked him to make sure my survey reached management and got a weak "sure" We shall see... if I don't get an email, I will know he ditched it.
Bottom line: stay away from there unless you have good medical insurance and a strong stomach!…
It's in my neighborhood so I wish it was better!. The service is good but the food is so so and sometimes bad. I had blackened chicken on fettucini last night and the chicken had a moldy flavor that I think arises from them blackening the chicken ahead of time and then holding in the fridge. I have tasted the same flavor (like bread mold) on the fish tacos and on the shrimp. It is our neighborhood restaurant and the service ambience and drinks are great so I wish I could enjoy the food but have been disappointed many times.…
Great Food Great happy hour. They have to have one of the best happy hours in Seattle. $5.99 is the most expensive item. Wednesday you can get a $5.00 Steak and Fries and yes it is good. If you are in the Northend and what a good deal with good food got to come in.…
Great deals and good food.. This semi newly opened restuarant in a former Shari's has a lot of great things going for it. They have lots of specials including a great happy hour and wino wednesday, plus often send out coupons for buy one get one meals and specials like donate a can of food and get a free drink. Its located in the Third Place Book Center so before or after a meal you can go and flip through some books. It also has plenty of parking, decent hours and a patio that is nice to enjoy in the summer. I highly recommend the 2.95$ happy hour hummus plate and the much more expensive meditteranean salad. They also have a decent beer selection with many rotating seasonals. I am hoping they add a trivia night like some of the other neighborhood grill locations.…
