A couple weeks later I gave in and walked (hobbled) in without an appointment and they took instant care of me. I thought it would be a little weird getting acupuncture in a room with others, but now that I've done it, I can't imagine any other way. Why as Americans do we need an isolated room all to ourselves? It does nothing to promote the healing process. Plus the community aspect allows the acupuncturist to oversee many patients at a time (don't worry - they give you loads of individual attention) and keep cost down. My appointments only cost $25 a session (they go up to $40, I think) based on my income, which isn't much. Perhaps I need a new job. But this isn't a review of my career. Go to the Pin Cushion for acupuncture. I didn't regret it and neither will you.
Get Healed the Right Way. I first went to the Pin Cushion for a minor problem. About 5 or six sessions later I felt better and quit going. But I felt myself drawn back. Later, a bigger problem developed for me and I started going intensively twice a week. I was unemployed but figured the $20 a session was worth the money. Honestly, the last time I went to the doctor (no insurance) it cost $160. I can get eight acupuncture sessions for that amount. And the healing goes beyond your outward symptoms to your entire body.
Affordable Community Acupuncture. The Pin Cushion offers affordable community acupuncture in the famous Capitol Hill district of Seattle.
