Alpine Ski Center has been recognized twice as Ski Retailer of the Year by the Ski & Snow Sports Industry Association. The store, founded in 1976, has seven locations in the Carolinas and Tennessee, including the Charlotte store and branches in Banner Elk and Beech Mountain.
Alpine also offers online ordering, a rental service and a web-based ski report that gives slope conditions at the major North Carolina resorts, West Virginia and several western resorts. Check the conditions in the mountains, rent your skis before you leave town and head up into the hills for a weekend of outdoor fun.

If you are a skier or snowboarder - you are not going to find a better selection of products or the people to help you make choices.
Pros: brands!, feels right, enjoyable
Cons: a little tough to fin
