I had an unfortunate dealing with them and found out they hate these cars and feel that if there are any problems inside the engine the only answer is a NEW engine. I purchased a Land Rover Discovery and took it to them for an overview to make sure things were in descent condition. They ended up doing a die test on the motor and saw that it had a few drips coming from the water pump and also had a rear wheel assembly that needed repair but otherwise everything was great. So I had them do the work but when I picked it up the check engine light came on and it went right back to them. They figured out that it was the Oxogen sensors, then we replaced those. Now everything was running fine again! They suggested that I change the spark plugs right away so I did and that is when the problems started. I put spark plugs in it that NAPA had listed as the correct part and Rudy at the garage said that that is what they would have used but when I started it up it ran bad the check engine light came on and had misfire codes so back to them it went (later I did some online research about land rovers and the types of spark plugs and found out they only like 2 kinds, Bosch Platinum 4 and Champion). They told me it was a bad fuel injector and charged me for chasing that down only to find that wasn't the problem. Next the computers told them it had a bad mass air flow sensor and also tested compression and found one cylinder low and became convinced that that was the problem and that the head HAD to come off (if you take a head off it gets really expensive really fast). They convinced me that was the only option so we did it. When they took the head off they noticed a little ware on the cam shaft and decided to tell me at this point that the only fix for this engine was actually a new engine! (total cost of the new engine: around $11,000). Now this wasn't an option for us so I asked if he would put in a new cam shaft and do the heads and put the engine back together and he said HE WOULD NOT DO THIS! it was $11,000 and that was the only option. So I towed it from James shop up to someone who knows Land Rovers (Biggs Eastside) and they put it back together for me at a reasonable price. The second shop had a completely different view of the the situation and as it turns out it basically needed new spark plugs (if you put the wrong type in it runs bad and causes misfires) and a mass air flow sensor! now it did have low compression in one of the cylinders but it was right at the 20% difference that mechanics say starts to mark a problem but James belief that these motors are the worst thing ever made made him want to take the head off and cost me over $4,000 in repair bills in stead of replacing spark plugs and a sensor that would be about $400. So my warning stands, DO NOT TAKE YOUR LAND ROVER TO THEM! THEY THINK THEY ARE JUNK AND HE REFUSED TO FIX WHAT HE STARTED.
Great service. The factors that make the customer service so great is that an easy to understand explanation of service needed immediately and possible service anticipated in the future are given on the spot. I also like that an estimate of the cost of the service is given so I can budget the expense.
The communication was professional. I thought that the communication was professional and the contact with staff kept me up to date with the progress and additional services required were fully explained and proved by the parts as evidence of the original problem
the BEST. They have the best customer service and the best quality of work
We were sold on EuroAsian. The entire staff understands that communication and attention to details are crucial in the car repair business. After just one visit,we were sold on EuroAsian!
They do excellent work. Give them a try, they do excellent work and have great customer service. I have already handed out several of their business cards in the past month.
I received great service. I just moved from california, I didn't know where to look. After trying EuroAsian for the first time, I am glad that I received great service. James took the time to explain to me everything about my car, even though clearly I was out of my element.
I would not go anywhere else. Period.. I literally will cross a border and travel 2+ hours to come here. Best work, best people. James is the ultimate car guy. He diagnosed a problem with my Nissan (OVER THE PHONE) when the Nissan service guys were going to charge me $2000+ to fix it. They had previously run me through the ringer doing a second-rate "repair" that James fixed. Because James had done such a good job documenting work, he looked over my file and was able to diagnose the problem. He called the dealership on my behalf and talked the technician through fixing the car. They obviously new he was right because the car "miraculously" fixed itself a day later. I would not go anywhere else. Period. I trust my family's vehicle to him without reservation.
