Much better than we expected. Our Son and Daughter in law gave us a gift card for our birthday. After reading the reviews, we were expecting poor service and not too much value in the food menu. To our surprise, the server was very friendly and attentive. There were two bags of popcorn and two glasses of Ice water at our table waiting for us.The menu prices were average and the portons were good. We ordered the fish and chips $13.00, and the Ale battered chicken $13.00. My husband also had a shrimp cocktail $8.00. The food was tasty and the fries were hot, and came in a cute little mesh basket that looked like a small fryer basket. The seats were very comfortable, there was a pillow and blanket available in the arm rest. We thoroughly enjoyed our movie 'date night'. Gold Coast was bought out by ipic cinemas, so I don't know if that is why the experience was better than the other reviews. The staff was very friendly and the theater was nicely decorated and very clean. If you are looking for a special evening, I would recommend giving this a try.

Great idea but bad service and horrible food. I love the idea of this place and I really want to like it. The seats are very comfortable and I love the setup of the theater. The tickets have gone up and I don't think in this economy I can justify spending $27 just to watch a movie.

The first time we went the food was horrible. I had the sliders and they were so overcooked, the meat was crunchy. I sent an email to the manager but never received a response, I would expect better service for a place that you can easily drop $150 just for the movie and entrees, not including drinks.

The second time we went for our anniversary with certificates we had bought that could be used on food only. The certificates were good for another 6 months, but we were told after we were seated, the second time we showed them to staff, that they would not accept them. If the certificates had not expired, I would think they would need to honor them or find some way to comp us, but they would not. Since we were on such a tight budget and we were counting on the certificate, we could not order drinks, appetizers or anything other than a main entree, and it was horrible. I don't know of any restaurants that can get away with serving such bad food, especially when they charge $14 for a chicken sandwich. Such a dissapointing special occasion. I won't be giving them a third try. Some of the reviews say this is a great place as long as you stay away from the food, but what's the point? Lincoln Square has pretty comfy seats for less than half the price. The draw to this theater is dinner and a movie and they are failing miserably.

Not worth it. While the service was top notch and the beers were huge. The food was not very good or special for the price you pay. I am so glad we had a coupon for 50% off and went on 1/2 price tuesday for food, because I would have been TOTALLY disappointed if we had spent $110 for 2 people.

The chips were soggy, the calamari was soggy and so loaded with ginger it was nasty, and the portabella sliders were nothing special.

The worst part, was that the lights were not turned down enough like when we took a tour before we went. I get that they have to see the stairs, but it takes away from the movie, especially if it's supposed to be scary. I would rather go to a nice dinner then see a movie at Lincoln Square in Bellevue.

A good movie/date night. We decided to try Gold Class Cinemas for the first time a week ago. By becoming members (for free) the tickets were $22 each, which is basically double a normal theater.

For our $22, we felt like we were traveling first class. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The seats were awesome, they are fake suede with wide arms and they actually recline with a foot rest. The chairs are very close together, encouraging couples.

There was one annoying person who made a few comments, but otherwise it wasn't filled with loud people and there was no horrible smell of fake buttered popcorn. It was very relaxing and almost felt like your own home.

The food is okay, nothing special and expensive for the quality. Given that at normal theaters it's $10.75 for a tiny bottle of water and a small bag of candy, I don't see why higher-than-restaurant prices would surprise anyone.

Overall it was a good experience but I would skip the food/drinks.

Horrible service, Overpriced, Soso food!. I have given gold class many chances to improve on food quality and service because the atmosphere and theaters are so nice. On our recent visit, I was treating my family of 5. We arrived more than an hour early for the movie to enjoy appetizers, cocktails and wine before the movie. Our server disappeared after delivering appetizers & drinks so we had to go find our own napkins, again to get refills and on and on. Finally we found him and said we would like to order our dinner for in the movie. He said he would be back in 5 min to take our order and take us in. 20 min later another server came over and said you look like you were abandoned, I don't know were he is but I will take your order. She did, but we had to find our movie and seats on our own. Once the movie started, everyone around us got their food but us. So an nearly an hour into the movie I went to talk to the mangager to ask why we didn't get ours. We finally got it a near the end of the movie. The dirty dishes sat in front of everyone the entire movie. Afterwards, they were not going to take the coupons we bought on restaurant com. We still spent $350 after the coupon discount. They automatically added $50 in tips for horrible service. I will never return. Go to cinebarre for 1/3 the price with better food and excellent service!

Great moviegoing experience. I have gone to this theatre twice now and the experience has been great. Pros - Very comfortable, relaxing, large, reclining chairs. Friendly and professional staff. Pillows and blankets. Complimentary cokes. The first time we went we reserved our seats in advance. The second time we arrived at the last minute and had to sit in the front row, but those were still great seats so it seems that there are no bad seats in the house. Cons - It is really expensive so if we go again it will only be for a special occasion. We had a voucher for a free appetizer so we each tried something but we probably wouldn't have anything to eat next time because the food just wasn't the greatest, especially for the prices they're charging. Overall - a great moviegoing experience, but really expensive.

Ok theatre, disgusting bathroom. This theatre is ok for viewing. Screens are small, sound average. What really irks me about the theatre is the absolutely disgusting men's bathroom. The stench from urine overwhelms me every time I use it. I avoid this theatre at all costs.

Poor Quality. I agree with the other reviewer about the curved screens and lenses. My eyes felt distorted for the first few minutes of the movie, and for a few minutes after I got out. The image quality and sound weren't great, and there's no stadium seating, which really hurts visibility especially at this packed mall theater. Parking is good and the staff was pretty nice.

horrible!. The Redmond Town Center Theatre is the worst theatre i have ever been to. The screens are curved, and dont have the right lens so they picture looks funny, the seating is horrible, the projection is horrible, the movies are all scratched, the staff is rude, the management, or should i say the lack of management, dont even try to fix any of this. I will always take my business to Bella Botega. It is a far better theatre, and is only half a mile away.
