Do NOT use this company! I have reported them to the BBB. My TV was picked up the second week of 03/2013 and I still don't have it, it is 05/2013. I was told our TV would be done in 1 week. It is always one reason or another that it is not done. It needs another part....etc..... When I call Roger just hangs up.
I agree...Run from this company! We have had this problem on going since Feb 2013. When they took our TV to repair it, they said 1 1/2 weeks.... it is now almost the end of May....after 2 months of excuses why it was not finished, we got them to give us our TV back, but we still have not received the check for our refund, that we stupidly paid in full as Roger said this is how they do business. They cashed our check within 2 days, we even have a signed receipt saying they would pay us back before the end of April.... We are at our wits end, retired and needing the money that we paid them over 500 dollars!
Horrible experience...Still do not have our tv back after 3 months....I am trying to help my 90 year old parents with this problem, but am not getting any results...Excuse after excuse, never show up with the TV after promising again and again they will be delivering the TV back to my parents..What a horrendous way to treat the elderly...I am beyond words and can only hope Karma is going to get them for ripping my parents off for over $500.00 and not giving them their TV back....
RUN RUN RUN, had to go to court and
better business to get resolved. I echo all these reviewes of pain.
"if I could give them negative stars I would. This was bar none the WORST customer service experience of my life.
two separate times 2 I stayed at home to from work without a call and without them showing up. I was a fool to let him take my TV when he arrived.
When he took the TV he told me it would be a week. After I did not hear from him for two weeks, I started to call the shop. I called 8 times over three weeks, left a message every time without a return call. On call 9, I got a tech who told me that Greg would call me back that day. After another week of silence, I started to call again. i called 6 more times and degraded into swearing at them on the answering machine. Still no response.
On call 16 I got a different tech that was not on my case. Again, I was told they would call back that day. Three days later I called again (# 17) and got a hold of Greg. At that point, he told me when that he would drop the TV off on Thursday. Note that he did not ask me when I would be home, rather he told me that he would drop the TV off on thursday morning. Needless to say, i was vocal in my response. At no time did he ask to coordinate schedules, rather he reiterated that he would drop it off the TV on thursday morning.
Not only would i not recommend Seattle TV Repair, I would actively and vociferously recommend against them. My Experience was THE WORST of ANY customer services experience every."

Perhaps as a group of consumers who had did business with Seattle TV Repair, we as a group could bring a case action suit.
RUN! DO NOT USE! This has by far been
THE WORST experience of any service I've EVER done business with. I'm working on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They scheduled someone to come out and take our TV, said they would have no problem repairing it for a delivery about 6 business days later (this is aside from the fact that they completely missed their proposed window to show up, showing up 25 minutes after the end of the agreed slot).
They have now had my TV for three weeks, I've called over ten times and every time no one can give me a status update for my TV! They promise to add me to their call list, and days go by, meanwhile I continue to call and they cannot provide me with a status update. Nothing.
My TV should have been delivered two weeks ago. I not received the status of my tv, a delivery date, and ANY order information, but they sure were quick to cash my check (can't stop payment on it now).
I can't believe the lack of caring, lack of customer service, or lack of follow-up. I'm so fed up that I'll just take the tv back unrepaired.
DO NOT USE this company....look up complaints on internet, there are tons!....The better business bureau shut it down once in Everett and they opened up a new one in woodinville. I sent in my TV because there was no power, they took way too long and when I got it back after 2 months! There was a huge burn in the pixels on it. The owner said it must of been on there when he picked it up! Comcast came out one day and told me that this is not a vizio screen...it had been switched out with another TV. So that is where "the pixel burn" came from! Run dont walk away from here! Beware....
RUN, unless you want to be without your TV for 3 weeks and treated poorly. They have no idea of what customer service is all about. Repeated promises to be there "next week" or "tomorrow" and excuse after excuse were the only answers we could get from them. They left a 4 minute missive on our phone telling us not to harass them "they were busy". Upon further investigation the City of Woodinville said they have no business license. In looking them up with the state, their license expired 10/1/12. I wonder why?
Run Away! These guys are nice guys but
not very useful. I gave them my device (a projector) and money for parts (dumb in hindsight). a month or so later the project wasn't fixed (they did tell me they couldn't fix it) but i still haven't gotten my refund after 8 months of calls.
Did i already suggest to run away?
