I am a French fry snob and these taters are tops! Fat and crispy and salt and peppered!! There's all sorts of stuff you can order to go with those fries, including the super fine fried veggies. And Vitamin R on tap, too!
Grab a hand roll of fish & chips and a draft and head to one of the few coveted sidewalk seats to watch the Capitol Hill hipsters go about their motions.
Casual dining at its best: the nook known as Pike Street Fish Fry serves up six kinds of lightly battered and fried fish with a smile..
In Short
Nestled in the old Frites space right next to the Neumo's box office, six different kinds of fish are fried up each day--in addition to oysters, octopus and asparagus. By far, the best bite found here is included with (almost) every dish: the fried lemon wedges. Also on the menu is Mexican Coke, Spanish potatoes and a variety of beer and wine options. The food's not cheap, running you $8 for the albacore, for example, but a-well-worth it voyage into a greasy fried heaven. Verdict: a great pit-stop before a night of carousing on the Hill.

pretty good, simple, fried fish. This place is right next to MOE bar (by the way has great happy hour prices) and you can get Fishfry to send your dinner order to MOE. Because, Fish Fry has limited seating. The fish are good, fresh, and reasonably priced for that are of Capitol hill. So my recommendation is this: Go to MOE for a cheap cocktail and get the order sent over there. Delicious!
