My kids love Great Play!. My girls, ages 3 and 6, have been taking classes for almost a year now at Great Play in Kenmore (which is rare with the short attention span of kids these days). My 6 year old daughter, who is not the most active kid, gets excited for each class and has a smile on her face the entire time, as does my 3 year old. Great Play's website describes their classes in detail, but what I think makes this place special is how the coaches interact with the kids. Yes, the gym space is huge and colorful, it's very clean, they project fun interactive images on the walls (I could go on about the facilities). However, the coaches really make the experience unique, and I appreciate that my kids are getting much needed exercise. I know the staff has a lesson plan for each class and they are teaching gross motor skills, coordination, agility..etc. But, my biggest priority is that the girls are running around and having fun. It's apparent to me that the owner, a mom of two as well, has really worked hard to create an awesome gym for the kids in our community. Great Play in Northshore is such a wonderful resource for Seattle families!…
