Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced.. The customer service is terrible. The massages themselves were good, but the manager here, Antonio Jones, should not be in a customer service position. One particular incident with this man has caused me to cancel my membership.

I went in as I usually did once a month and I was offered a new treatment. Something with Biofreeze and towels – it wasn’t particularly good. So at the end of my massage I asked if it was possible if the fee could be waived (all of $12.00) since the oil they used was actually beginning to irritate my skin. The manager,

Antonio Jones, said he could not and began to leave the room. I simply shrugged and said loudly enough so he could hear me , “A big corporation like Massage Envy should have good customer service.”

Antonio came back out from his office and asked me to be quiet. Keep in mind; I had not been terribly loud. My voice was of average indoor volume. It wasn’t the fact that they did not offer to waive the $12.00 that really got me upset. It was what followed.

After being told to be quiet, I replied with, “If you are embarrassed about the situation, it would have been nice if you just waived the fee. $12.00 is nothing to a corporation.” Antonio actually retorted with,

“No, ma’am. You should be the one who is embarrassed. I feel embarrassed for you.”

Good customer service? I think not. It’s not that I did not get my way in the end. It’s the fact that the Clinic

Manager felt the need to insult me. I will be calling corporate (not easy to get their number, but for those who want it: 480-366-4103).

They’ve lost myself as a customer as well as my family and friends.

Nick is the best!. I have been a member of Massage Envy for several years. I used to go to the Everett Mall location, then one day like 16 mos ago they had no apts available, so I called the Mill Creek location. I am glad I did! Nick B. is the hands down best therapist to walk Earth! I was in a major car accident at 18, Im 25 now, and regular massage and chiropractic care is essential, otherwise I am in constant pain. Throughout the year(s) Nick has customized a massage that helps me through it, as well as relaxes me.

I have also a few times gone to Twila when Nick was not available and I was hurting, she is great too, a little talkative ;) but a wonderful therapist as well.

Great price for what you get in return- the whole trick is to find an experienced therapist, like Nick B, and tip them well they will take care of you.

Wonderful Experience - Twila is Superb!. My body has been through much over the years, from accidents, sugeries and diagnosed with Fibromyalgia since 1993. I've also had experience with many massage therapists, but none as experienced and capable as Twila at Massage Envy in Mill Creek. She connects as no other where the term " massage treatment" truly applies. She is absolutley focused in her methodology and technique.

I've read a few of the other reviews and believe the following may be helpful for those looking for a good therapist:

It's important for clients to relate what work they want done. They should define their limits in terms of massage pressure, general conversation and relate any special areas that have had surgeries or are sensitive. Some clients prefer to talk during massage, others just wish to relax, some even sleep. Be smart and kind, relating to your therapist what your preferences are before you start and during your treatment. Feedback is essential to get the most out of your massage. None benefit from negative remarks after the fact, especially in this day of electronic correspondence.

Back to Twila and Massage Envy.........AAA+++

Worst Massage!. I've been going to Massage Envy for quite a while now, and I must say at first I loved it with my masseuse, Twila. She's very friendly. The first few times it's been a wonderful experience, but she talks all the time. I don't want to be rude to tell her to be quiet, but I just want to relax. The first couple massages were great even though she talked, but I had thought it would subside. Unfortunately, it continues every time I come in. The conversations range from questions about what I do and about her life outside of work with her daughter. How much is it to ask for to get a nice massage without the conversation? Maybe I'm just too nice of a person to bring it up. I just might try out another therapist, or go someplace else.

Great Place for a Relaxing Massage. Twila, my massage therapist, is wonderful. The staff at check-in makes you feel comfortable.

Fragrance Free/No Aromatherapy, Membership Options/Pitches, Good Massage. I used to manage a high-end spa, so I am quite familiar with massage. It was hard for me to rate between 3 or 4 stars. One amazing deal is their $39 first time client special for a 50-min. massage. Upon checking in i was given a heated neck wrap and forms to fill out while sitting in a chair by their front desk. The phone was constantly ringing and the front desk worker didn't put the phone call on hold when I went up to ask a question. All I needed to know was the date, so finally I just left my paperwork up at the counter and sat down. Minutes later she took me back to another, quiet waiting area and left me to get water on my own. I told her I was very familiar with massage, but she continued to over explain every step of it to me, as well as show me one of their rooms. The massage itself, with April, was good and on a heated table. I had somehow injured a muscle and she was able to work on it without too much pressure, which is what i'd requested. The day after, the muscle is feeling much better! The most annoying thing about massage envy is that they plugged their membership to me on the phone (1.5 hrs before my appointment) and also when I checked out. I don't want to hear about a membership that I already declined after a relaxing massage. They are also a fragrance free place, so they use all unscented products/no aromatherapy. I did not know this prior to my massage, so I had brought some essential oil just in case they didn't provide it. The therapist told me she couldn't use it since they are a fragrance free place. I understand how this can be good, but to me, a massage just isn't as good without some aromatherapy. I may go back, but not before trying somewhere else first.

Worst massage ever!!!!!. I came to massage envy because I had gotten into a car accident and also because I was completely stressed out from life in general. When I walked in the door they knew who I was and quickly got me bottled water and my forms to fill out. After that they asked me to pay and tip before I even had the massage!!! Not only that they began their sales pitch on memberships. I found that to be really invasive, but that wasn't the worse part. When I finally got into a room with my therapist Elise I had told her that I had whiplash, and that I was irritated from work and completely stressed out. She quickly began massaging me with no warning or initial touch. The massage was very fast and vigorous and she wouldn't shut up! I told her to slow down and that the massage was painful and I didn't want to talk. She stop doing it for 2 min and then came back to her old irritating, vigorous way. I swear this chick doesn't have a license! When Elise went to do the stretches, she didn't warn me and just quickly lifted my head off the table and crunched my head into my chest. I yelled what are you doing!!! Then she quickly ended the massage and left the room. I wanted to let the people at the front desk know about Elise and that I wanted my money back, but Elise was up hanging around joking with the staff. So I ran out of there mad and upset. The next day I could not move my neck at all. It took 5 days to finally get another massage, because Elise had aggravated the injury and caused further injury to my neck! I would never suggest going to a massage envy or seeing a therapist named Elise.

Great value, worth a try. I had an amazing massage a few days before my wedding and I was very stressed out. My bridesmaids took me here and it was very affordable. The massage therapist even personalized my massage because I wanted a combination of two. I left feeling very relaxed and happy with my bridesmaids!
