Editorial Review for Dillons Restaurant & Lounge – by Scott Stiffler
The Scene
After the pre-theater crowd has its fill, the long rectangular front dining room gets a facelift: A stage is added and furniture is rearranged to accommodate 110 patrons--free-standing tables go down the middle while banquettes line the wall. The ambience, classic continental, remains unchanged. In the back, The Reprise Room (an off-Broadway space that housed the long-running "Our Sinatra") has round tables and an L-shaped banquette seating 100. Table service can be had throughout the show.
The Draw
Cabaret enthusiasts mix with the pre/post-theater crowd in a warm, friendly setting. If you'd rather entertain than be entertained, the open mic nights might be your thing. You can either bring your own prerecorded music or ask the in-house accompanist to provide the backup. Sheet music is appreciated, but chances are if you can name that tune, this pianist can play it on the ivories.

I was in New York on a short vacation and stumbled upon this place! I was in the lounge and it was fairly small and cozy. There were just a few people in the place and I went in to get away from the crowded streets. I felt at home and welcome right away. The bartender, Victoria was as friendly as she was good looking, and Guys she is HOT!!! I am from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I know great places to have a good time. The only things missing are the Beach and Bikinis!!!!!
Pros: This is a great place
Cons: None

We really had a blast time at Dillons last week. I had vaguely remembered it years ago for a stand up comedy show my friend was performing at. The room is really spectacular. We could eat as we saw the musical performances. Waiting for our next visit here.
Pros: eat while you watch the shows
Cons: wish they had a branch in Queens
