The Space
Doctor's office-meets-day spa. A cozy reception area leads to two clean treatment rooms equipped with the latest technology. Staff is knowledgeable and highly-trained; some are even registered nurses. The waiting room doubles as the checkout, so chances are you'll hear the previous client make her (or, very often, his) next hair removal appointment.
The Services
The Epilight treatment removes hair from any area of the face or body. The Epifacial eliminates broken capilliaries, redness, sundamage, acne scars and other facial imperfections. Microdermabrasion is a deep exfoliation that corrects fine lines and discolorations. FDA approved Endermologie treatments to reduce cellulite are also available, but only at the Scarsdale location.

After reading the mixed reviews I was a bit concerned about going to the Madison Avenue location, but I must say I am really happy I went. Genevieve did a really great job on my waxing as well as made me feel as comfortable as possible while doing such an uncomfortable procedure. From the second I walked through the doors, she greeted me with a warm welcoming smile and did everything possible to make the procedure painless. She used both warm and hard wax which is awesome. Hard wax seems to be much faster and better in certain areas of the body. I was also impressed by how clean everything was. She wore gloves and there was no double dipping. (I have had horror stories with other waxing places in NYC). I liked the fact that they put a special cream on you afterwards and let you clean your own business. It was done in a very professional manner and there was really no wax left over to clean. I finally found the right place, I will definitely be back.

My girl friends have been going to Completely Bare for years and recommended the place to me. Their recommendations paled in comparison to the real thing. I don't even know where to begin. Everything was amazing- from my phone call to make the appointment to the time they wished for me to have a great 4th of july!! The receptionist who picked up the phone was so helpful and she answered every question I had and handled all of my concerns. She made me feel so comfortable with all of the questions that I felt were awkward. I felt like I was talking to a friend. As soon as i opened the door and stepped into the spa i was greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome by every employee that walked by. They offered me water (cold or room temp- how fab!) and magazines. I never got to read the magazine because by the time I grabbed the magazine the technician came out and was ready for me. There was no wait time!! I have a hectic schedule so this meant so much to me. The tech was so funny and so caring. She was mentally getting me through the wax. Kept my mind off of it and it was so fast. They didn't double dip which was a huge concern for me. After the wax she went in and tweezed every single hair that the wax didn't grab. She was so amazing. I didn't feel rushed at all and I felt like their whole spa revolved around me. It was such a good feeling. Such a beautiful small and intimate space they had. Loved the decor, the atmosphere, and the energy there. I recommened it to my sister who is visiting I can't wait to see what she says. Love Love Love this place!!!
