What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying

Chan Seattle
Chan, pronounced (chawn), is downstairs from Bacco Cafe in the charming little Inn at the Market courtyard. Chef Heong Soon Park, who owns both restaurants, created Chan to showcase a sexy menu of modern Korean food that tilts more towards westernized cuisine using fresh seasonal produce from Pike Place Market. Small plates range from braised short rib and poached black cod to kimchi pork belly and bulgogi sliders. There's also a small, yet full-bar featuring traditional Korean cocktails. Now, go get your Chan on!

A hidden Korean gem in the market with a rocking happy hour and small, intimate atmosphere. Try the fried chicken wings, tuna tartare and bulgogi sliders.

This cubby hole in the courtyard of The Inn at The Market serves up westernized Korean food (on purpose) and signature cocktails. Good value during Tue - Sat happy hour when bev & bites run just $3 - $6.
