Fixed my TMJ!!. I have had TMJ with major jaw discomfort for 10 years. I wasn't aware that there was actually a remedy for this. So tired of dealing with it, and needing to go to the dentist, I did some googling and found out that seeing a chiropractor may help the condition. Dr Markos was amazing. I went in there with a clicking uncomfortable jaw that I had suffered with for years, and she was able to fix it in one session. I will be going for follow up- but I was amazed that in less than an hour, I could open my mouth with no clicking and no discomfort thanks to Dr Markos. Amazing and I highly recommend.

Relief from pain!. After waiting 3 months and being in agony and pain due to back, I finally searched for a chiropractor close by in North City. The first visit with Dr. Markos was wonderful! The source of my pain originated from a particular exercise that I performed at the health club. I truly did not think going to the chiropractor would resolve the issue, but the pain was intense most often I simply had to go. To my astonishment, Dr. Markos went above and beyond and actually helped my shoulders, hips and knees - all of which I never anticipated!!! Each and ever visit brings such refreshing relief and my back has improved so dramatically. I am so excited to recommend Dr. Markos to all that I come in contact with!

Seriously!! Most Amazing Chiropractor EVER!!. Dr. Marcos is the most amazing chiropractor of all time. I popped my back out of place and could not stand up straight....that was the first time. With zero x-ray or drawn out BS this woman listens and heals. On one of my enjoyable visits I thought to ask Dr.Marcos if there was any way she could look at my ankle since the patient before me was talking about how great her shoulder felt when she left. I had sprained my ankle so many time since the age of 10 that I ended up having surgery to fix my ligaments. Since the surgery I wasn't able to move it correctly and I was always in pain. Dr. Marcos adjusted my ankle and the pain was gone. 12 years of aching GONE IN ONE SECOND. I literally cried the whole way home! I have recommended her to my family and friends. She is truly an asset to the world and anyone lucky enough to be healed by Dr. Marcos is blessed!

Miracle Worker. Had the good fortune to meet Dr. Marcos over 15 years ago now and if I cited all the true miracles she has manifested for me and my family, I would sound like a crackpot. But the truth is, she is a gifted healer and a superb doctor and uses both her intuition and her medical skills to make a quantifiable difference in your health. I suffered from many allergies and who thought that chiropractic adjustments would alleviate my distress. She has helped with near crippling injuries and avoided surgery for my husband. She has helped align my children and other family members toward better health. There is no greater praise than recommending her with absolute certainty that whoever she touches will be helped.

Worth driving for.... I've seen Dr. Markos for almost a decade. I live in Mukilteo and drive to see her because she is the best Chiropractor I've ever been to. Yes, as the previous person posted she examines other areas that you aren't concerned with, but she knows what she is doing and intuitively "fixes" you. You don't even have to tell her where you are hurting... She knows. And yes, sometimes you have to wait to see her because she takes her time with each patient and makes sure they are well. I'd be concerned if she wasn't in demand. I have referred many friends and clients to her over the years and will continue to do so with total confidence!

High Expectations, No Results. I chose Dr. Markos specifically because of the great reviews on the internet. After going to her for a while, and not getting any positive results, I thought it made sense to write a sincere review based on my experience so that others aren't as easily swayed to see her simply based on these one-sided online reviews and ratings.

The most irritating part of my experience was that she continually worked on parts of my body which I didn't ask her to work on. That might not be such a bad thing except for the fact that I was paying by cash and quickly found myself running out of money while she worked on areas other than the ones that were hurting. 8-10 sessions later and my injuries persisted.

The other thing I didn't understand is what she was basing her charges on. It's either $40 or $55 per visit depending on what she does. Several occasions it seemed I was charged $55 when she did very little and $45 when she did more; I wish all healthcare professionals would ask you if you'd like to pay for certain things before they just went ahead and did them.

At one point I asked her whether she was going to start on the area that hurt. She said she chooses what she does each session based on "what she finds." Again, this isn't a sufficient method of healthcare for someone who is not made of money.

She also seems very proud of herself. Whenever I want to talk to her about what she did that session she usually responds with "well, I did a lot for you." Well Dr. Markos, I'm now out $500 dollars and still have the same injuries I had before I started going to you.

She also likes to talk about random stuff in a congenial matter. I wouldn't mind except that I'm paying $55 dollars for a 10-15 minutes visit, I feel for that price I should get to focus on obtaining any and all information I can from her about my injuries as possible - not talk about the economy, etc.

And visits, if someone else shows up to their appointment late, then my appointment ends up being late. This happened several times when I would get there on time and there would be 2 people waiting ahead of me. Because 1 person ends up being late, everyone's appointment is pushed back and often I would have to sit for 30 minutes and wait.

If you have insurance, great, utilize your "free" chiropractic visits. Otherwise, don't depend only on internet reviews and ratings to choose your healthcare provider because in my experience it's not always the best choice. Also, keep in mind that plenty of bad reviews are probably neglected in being posted online because unhappy customers most likely won't want to waste their time doing these bad revews, they'd rather move on from their bad experiences. Good luck with your chiropractic issues and I hope this review helped give another perspective!

The best Chiro in WA. I met Dr Markos because of my lower back. I thought that it was going to take me a long time to get better but after the third session I was able to sleep, walk, and hold my son like nothing had happen. I recommend Dr. Markos 100%. She cares about her patients, knows where the pain comes from, and helps you get and feel better.

Go See Dr. Markos!. I suffered a minor shoulder dislocation that had been bothering me 4-5 weeks before I went to see Dr. Markos. There was literally instant improvement after Dr. Markos worked on my shoulder. Subsequent appointments have shown just how skilled Dr. Markos is in diagnosing injuries and reducing pain. I highly recommend Dr. Markos to anyone with chiropractic needs!

I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone!. "I've been a patient of Dr. Markos for over a year now. I'd never been to a chiropractors before but being on a roller derby team made me realise I needed to see one, so I didn't know what to expect. What I found was an exceptionally compassionate, knowledgeable, and gifted healer. I have always felt that she respects me as a unique individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I have been impressed by her thoroughness and diagnostic skills, as well as her multidimensional approach to medicine. . I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone for the best kind of help, a top-notch Dr.with compassion and ability.

A long overdue rave. I began seeing Dr. Markos after I was rear ended in a car accident. I have neck and shoulder pain, though it is sooo much better after seeing Dr. Markos. She truly has a gift. My son said it well at Thanksgiving as we were discussing what we had to be thankful for. "You must be thankful for your chiropractor!" Indeed I was, and still am. I have made great progress since the accident. I have been meaning to write a review for awhile now. If you are looking for a great chiropractor, look no further! You will be welcomed by Susie, the fabulous receptionist, and I'll bet Dr. Markos can help you, too.
